The only way to rip models from Pokemon Colosseum is printscreening tool because no one knows how to extract .fsys files right? So ripping attack/move animations can be done by the printscreening method as well?

As of right now, yes.

I've been trying my hardest to get proper rips from this blasted game still, mostly for trainers and such though. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Nothing comes out T-posed, and when it does, it's skewed all to heck in places. I've tried DXripper, GameAssassin, 3DRipperDX, 3dVia Printscreen, everything I can think of. Can someone let me know what I'm supposed to do to get these to come out properly? I desperately wish to rip Ein and Evice.

When it comes to the trainers, you'll have to rip using 3DRipperDX. Yes, they will be skewed because everything ripped with this program is usually skewed. You said sometimes they come out tposed? Which program did you use? What were you doing in game when you ripped them?

DXripper would have them T-posed but...sometimes it skews them for absolutely no reason. Like with ripping Miror B from battle I got his body parts and such in seperate files but when imported they usually line up if it weren't for the god-forsaken skewing issues. There was a jigglypuff posted at one point that displayed just what I mean. His afro is stretched at one point, and his vest is as well.

Unfortunately you'll have to re-scale them. I'm pretty sure the Wes model on the site was ripped the same way. I do know what you mean but you have to understand ripping models isn't an exact science. Sometimes it's trial and error and even when you rip him, you'll still have to fix the textures. One thing I might suggest is ripping with DXRipper and 3DVIA so you have the same scene captured twice only the 3DVIA will have the correct scaling. Then you can use an object from that scene and compare it with the scaling from the DXRipper capture and fix that scenes scaling that way.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. I've managed to get the scaling and such right, but T-Poses are nonexistant, so I have to settle for base poses. Also, the textures are horribly awry. If you have time, would you be able to take a look at what I've got?
Thanked by:
Yeah I can look at it but like I said before you'll probably have to fix the textures yourself. Almost all ripped models require you to fix the textures

Silently uploaded Blaziken and Wailord to the site and also updated the first post to reflect this. Next on the list will be Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur but I will be taking a break for a while so don't expect them to instantly show up.

Hello, first off I would like to say Pokemon Colo and XD are two of my favorite Pokemon Games (Along with HGSS and X and Y) and I love the "Model Rips" everyone workin on this has done so far. Me and my friends in our club are working on a New Fan Pokemon Media Project and would like to have model rips of Rui, The Newscaster Class, and the Pokemon Center Nurses but none of us have any experience in "ripping models"...Would anyone here be willing to rip these models for us? (Or just som of them or just one xD) Of course you would get full credit in all the media we use the model rips in xD.

Thanks,
#316 Ryan

Is anyone still on this forum?

Hey I'm back. Unfortunately, my life has taken a toll for the worst. I have lost the ability to walk correctly and am in constant pain. I can't go to school or get a job. Lately, I've been ripping guns from Borderlands 2, bought a 3d printer, and just chillin on call of duty. Since I'm so sick anymore, I might as well focus on this project. I have to fix Wailord, and if he is't good enough this time, I'll skip him and move on. He should be resubmitted sometime tonight or tomorrow. Then I'll do them in numerical order.

Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Focus on what makes you happy and good luck.
