I was getting more or less of an idea where you kick down a door to a Viper castle in a valiant effort to save whoever's being held hostage there

then you see Arisa/Sengi, who have just recently freed the captive

then you're like

Chibi Phyisics are crappy ehhhhh, kind of difficult to explain since meta's legs pretty much follow those sets of pysics and not our own. Doesn't mean hes a chibi though, he's just meta, that is all there is to it.

Crapy for Tutorial Guide 2012, as he'll guide you through the basics of the game. He'll later assist you if you get stuck on the levels, being this game's auto play feature (if any, I'd rather have a 4-way battle mode).

in actuality, he doesn't automatically play the level; he changes the level into one from sonic advance 2 and it completes itself
