Favorite Console? (Nintendo)
#61
I can assure you that nothing Sonic related is known for WiiU as of yet. Wait for E3, but I doubt there will be such news then.
I, a guy who lacks PS and X-Box consoles, find it heart breaking that a Nintendo console owner as myself is denied Sonic 4 Episode 2 and Episode Metal. Just like S&SASR, Nintendo owners are once again bestolen from the opportunity to play as Metal Sonic. (I can always play Sonic Adventure DX, but I already played that game to death).

You seriously need to play the second two. TTYD was... dead seriously one the best sequels to a game of all time. It improved upon absolutely everything and has earned itself a spot as one of the best GC games of all time.
Super Paper Mario is amazing as well. It doesn't have the same RPG gameplay (it's 2.5-D styled, I suppose), but it's still very respectable as a sequel and the characters are lovable and you still technically have partners (only they are Pixls, these cute little digital creatures) that you need to use to unlock things and fight and stuff. It's well worth it I say. The main villain is nothing short of awesome as well. Cute

The problem is that so far, no two Paper Mario games have been on the same console, which is a restriction for lots of people. Sure, the Wii can play GC games, but that hardly counts.

Anyway, I'll try and get the chance to play them. Super Mario's non-RPG way of playing isn't really that appealing, but I'm sure it'll still be great. In any case TTYD comes first.

Next Paper Mario? It has been confirmed since last year, there are even screens and videos.....

Yeah, I suppose that can be an issue...
However, they technically are if you have a Wii since you can DL PM1 on Virtual Console, get TTYD which the Wii will play, and then SPM. Then you're set! Big Grin

If I had a Wii, that'd be great. But I don't Tongue
Ah well, I'll probably be able to play them sooner or later, and I can wait.

Ah, I was actually referring to the Mario & Luigi RPGs that you mentioned. "That's why they sticked with the Mario & Luigi series for RPGs."

That's a bit tricky. You need to get the okay from Ubisoft and Hasbro Interactive.

They easily get the license to do it for games from Konami, Tecmo, and other Japanese companies. But these are Western companies which they rarely get Virtual Console games from.

Am I the only one here that thinks story-line and game-play are more important than graphics sure graphics are great their just a bonus in my opinion, plus there are way to many shooters nowadays when i go to a game store more than 50% of the games are shooters -.- like call of duty and modern ware, what a waste of money -.- i'd rather have a good old side scrolling game, shame they aren't as popular as they use to be Sad
What Rips am i doing next not sure?

You have to have a nice balance, a game from this year that has piss poor graphics usually gets avoided by me. It's 2012, things shouldn't be an eyesore.

By "Good Graphics" nobody means "Ultra high resolution realism." We're talking about visually appealing things, which are just as important as gameplay and story.

GBA SP, it's rechargeable, back lit screen, has good battery life, portable, and has an amazing library on it's own plus it plays GB/GBC games too.

DS for most of the same reasons.

So this. I can't understand why shooters are the flavor of the week and graphics are getting way too much emphasis these days. They all seem to work more on getting the game to look good rather than to actually make the game any good.
God is good.  Big Grin
