That format of date isn't actually called the "European date order", it's called the "obviously logical date order"
Also, uploaded.

Haha yeah, personally I think that day/month/year is more logical, since it's in order of length (a day is shorter than a month, which is shorter than a year). Also, being a Kiwi I probably grew up with it.
I've never really noticed that Americans do it differently, I've always seen it as personal preference. But hey, now I've learnt yet another thing that America decided to do to confuse everyone else (06-27-2012, 06:45 PM)Yawackhary Wrote: Oh and I don't have much to say except that the rip is good and some interesting info regarding Professor Layton that the ripper has done. Interesting info?

It's all right. NZ to be precise, not really the UK, but yeah pretty much the same
By the way, Dazz uploaded Pet Peeved, but I don't see You Scratch Mine up yet. Thanked by: Garamonde
Gallery (Miscellaneous) - 16/7/2012
Advance Wars: Dual Strike (DS) Hey, I'm back! I took a bit of a break, been catching up with my programming during the holidays, since with the free time I could kind of "power code" without breaking my train of thought I decided to rip some Dual Strike since I recently finished the campaign (the War Room's keeping me busy now). The Gallery was pretty easy (albeit tedious), but I'll hopefully do stuff like units soon, if they're not too difficult. I'll probably re-rip the COs too since the current ones by Trigononamous aren't complete. (And in case you hadn't noticed it yet, the words in the parentheses after the sheet name specifies the section it goes under.) By the way, for some reason the direct links from Picasa Web Albums to some images are changing (see the first post to see what I mean). It happened before when I changed the album's visibility and I fixed that, but now it's happening for no reason, and if I go through the trouble to fix it it'll probably happen again. So, I'm thinking of changing my image host to one of the ones most people use here. I had a look at those in the "Submissions Forums for beginners" thread but I want to know what you guys recommend. I'd like to be able to organize them into albums but I'd preferably not use Photobucket.

One word, minus.com.
Also I GREATLY appreciate you listing what section they go under. That's a thing that many submitters don't do and it confuses us uploaders a bit sometimes with games we've never played. Also uploaded that. Thanked by: puggsoy

I did it.
I actually relinked the sheets in every post with their new minus link. It was a hell of a job but I just really like consistency. REALLY like it. (However it did remind me to add my two last sheets to the first post, since I hadn't done that yet.) Anyway, thanks for the recommendation, minus is great. The links are way shorter than Picasa Web Albums, but the main thing I like is that the direct links are much simpler to just copy and paste. I mean, in PWA, if the image was more than 800 pixels in either dimension, you had to edit the URL to get the proper resolution. It wasn't meant for direct links though (more just linking to your album), while minus is. So yeah, I'll be using minus for all my images now. I trust it not to change the links Thanked by: Garamonde

Yup, minus has been pretty reliable from what I can tell, and it doesn't compress images no matter how large. Did I mention you can also upload files to it? Because you can.

Yeah, I noticed that too. However I use Mediafire for files already so I may as well keep this for images.

Right, so I've decided to fix a few of ShadeDBZ's WarioWare rips. Well, I'm not really fixing them, since they're not broken, but just adding some stuff that he missed, or didn't think needed to be in the sheet. That's just stuff like the game icons and such, which RBY's and my sheets include (e.g. this compared to this).
However I'm not sure how to do it. I want to keep his rips, but I dunno if I should rearrange them to how I would arrange them with the new sprites, or leave them be and just add my stuff onto the sheet. I've done one sheet the latter way, kind of setting my sprites apart along with my tag so that you can see who ripped what. But if there is a better or more preferred way of doing this please say so. (By the way this isn't a submission yet, I just want to see how I should do it.) Thanked by: Garamonde, redblueyellow, Shade
