Free Range has some black space that could be removed. To fix it, I say place a straight black line(s) between what you and Shade ripped to separate it more neatly. Everything else is updated though.

Right, squished it some more, and put a black line. Hope that's better
And thanks for uploading the other sheets. You might want to add me as a submitter but it's not necessary or anything, if you can't or don't want to that's fine. Thanked by: Garamonde

I'm so dumb. But seriously yeah, they should all be fixed now, and Free Range has been updated. Thanked by: puggsoy

Right, so I ripped the missing bits from Housewares, but I'd like to pose a question before submitting it. As you can see, Shade also ripped the flipped versions of the animals and objects, but as far as I know, this is unnecessary. I mean, anybody who's gonna use them can flip them manually (in fact most people would do this anyway since it's usually faster processing-wise).
I could leave it be, but if you want I wouldn't mind removing the unneeded sprites. This would probably also allow me to rearrange them a bit and possibly minimize blank space.

Yes please, that would be great. But first I'd take the flipped sprites and mirror them and compare them to the others before deleting them. If they are exactly the same then go for it!

Housewares (Minigame) [fix of existing sheet] - 1/8/2012
Housewares WarioWare: Touched! (DS) There we go. Yeah they were the same, to be honest I'd be surprised if they weren't, for this specific minigame that's too small a detail for the makers to care about. But thanks for saying so anyway, always good to check Thanked by: Garamonde

VERY nice organization you have there. I'm glad I remembered to suggest the black lines. Updated!

Thanks, yeah I'm using the lines all the time now. I should have actually put them in all the previous sheets, I'd do it for the sake of consistency but I can't be bothered.
Anyway: Party Popper (Minigame) [fix of existing sheet] - 2/8/2012 WarioWare: Touched! (DS) This one is actually by Yak, but I thought I may as well do it too. Took heaps of rearrangement though. By the way, I made a new icon for this one because Yak's one incorrectly says "Party Poppers", it's not supposed to be plural. Thanked by: Garamonde

Pyoro T (Souvenir) and Tune Out (Minigame) [fixes of existing sheets] - 3/8/2012
Pyoro T Tune Out WarioWare: Touched! (DS) Pyoro T actually a souvenir but it's in the minigame section, so you should move it. I removed some stuff (such as graphics from pausing) since those are used in all minigames and souvenirs, and also reripped the bottom title screen since the background and button's weren't separated. By the way you might be wondering what those "moustaches" on Tune Out are, they're puffs of air that come out of the teacher's nose when she gets angry, weird I know. They were a bit harder to rip than normal though since they're overlapping the teacher's on the same layer, but still separately animating sprites (i.e. not part of her animation frames). Mechanical Pyth (Enemy) - 9/8/2012
Bastion (PC/Computer) Ah yes. The sweet smell view of a brand new game being added to tSR. And that game is Bastion, no less. It's a really great game that's been highly praised and I can imagine that a lot of people will enjoy these sheets, even if just for reference. Another reason why I'm so stoked to be doing this. I'm not sure if there's an official name, but "Mechanical Pyth" seems most accurate and probably the one most people call it by anyway (it's also the name of the Bastion Wiki's article). In-game it's referred to as just a mechanical representation of the god Pyth, so I could call it "Pyth", but I dunno. I think this is all right, if I ever find an official name I'll change it. Anyway I haven't completely stopped with fixing WarioWare sheets. I'll probably do one or two every now and then, there aren't that many really and they're pretty easy. But my main focus for the time being will be on Bastion.

Leave the sheets as they're extracted. For everything else that comes as individual sprites just place them however you want or .ZIP them.

Awesome, that'll make it much easier. For the individual frames, I'll probably just slap them onto the sheets (so that you have the entire character on a single sheet).
There are, however, some sheets that contain stuff from multiple bits of the game. For example there's one sheet that contains bits from the map, main menu, Arsenal (weapon selection), Memorial (contains vigils, sort of like achievements), and various other icons and stuff. However it doesn't contain everything of these, for example it contains the images of the vigils but not the background or overworld sprites of the Memorial. In this case I'd want to organise them, that is, I'd put all Memorial related sprites in one sheet, even if they're originally found in different files (which will be the case). That way people can find the Memorial sheet, and instantly have all the sprites related to it. I just want to make sure you're OK with this. You said to leave the sheets as they're extracted, but I'd only want this for sheets with difficult-to-reorganise animations, like the one I linked to, since they're only related to a single character anyway. But other stuff like GUI and easily organised graphics I would prefer to put into my own sheets rather than bunches of sprites that shouldn't be together. |
