Meta's post didn't help? I beg to differ. He said what he felt from his point-of-view. Want Meta to not post 'hate' on your sprites? Make better sprites! That's what we, the spriters, do here.
I am not going to repeat the others, since they basically gave all the feedback that could be given. Let it sink in, watch some tutorials/analyze and observe sprites/practice. You can blame us for not liking your sprites, but the one stopping you from becoming a decent spriter is yourself.

nicktendo ds you might think it would help but thats just your opinion but it didn't help me.it might just sound like i'm whining and being a baby but it's just the way i feel and i don't blame you guys i would never because it's not.mighty jetters i read the post and understand it and your right but it might have been a mistake coming here before fully understanding every thing about making sprites,for right now i'll work on improving and when i do you'll see me back so good bye for now and i hope to see you all soon.but i never did get to show you guys my back grounds so i'll leave this here

this thread has been nothing but horrible recolors and edits, why do i still keep it open. and for god's sake OP, use some god damn commas, your posts make me think you're not even 7.

Calm down Meta... He's just a noob spriter asking for your advise. It would be nice to just give him gentle criticism for now (I'm not saying that noobs who don't do a good job at what they're doing don't need criticism, I just mean that we shouldn't knock down his self confidence).
