and now, for something completely different

Funny, I was just thinking of making some Adventure Time sprites to celebrate the new game for the DS and 3DS :p

That blue in Finn's eyes and mouth doesn't really work for him. Try either a dark blue or black.

Working on tiles! Dropped the "industrial" theme for now. Now I'm going for underground.. Which is better?

i think the colder feel of the right palette suits your sprite more.

I prefer the new tileset, which reminds me of Metroid: Zero Mission a lot, which is a good thing to me. I think you could make it less straight to make it feel more rocky.
Keep it coming!

I think you should make the edges sharper, as they're quite soft for now.

I'm actually kind of liking it now.. But maybe I'll try to sharpen it later. [Image: enemy.gif]

What bothers me for now is that the outline is parallel to the darker shading, because it makes the rocks look like humps.

Finals are FINALLY over. I can get back to work! VERY WIP. 1 part of a small combo and still missing effects. You guys have any ideas of any kinds of effects? It's supposed to be like a repulsor blast.

looks great, but I'd change the angle of the leg on the initial pull back so its more facing the viewer, atm it looks like its been snapped out of joint.

I actually meant the back leg and looking at the frames I can tell the actual problem is that it goes from all the way back to planted in front, no swing its like the leg teleported.

It's good! I wonder what's happening to his feet, though.
