Sprite Ripping Project 5: _____-em-up!
All online now! Great job everyone, this project just strived a lot in 12 hours!
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

System: PC Engine CD

A strange game featuring muscular men in speedos, who can shoot laser beams from a gaping hole in their head. "Adam" is the Level 1 Boss.

I still have some finishing touches to do but it's mostly just effects.
Doofenshmirtz: This is a little bit awkward but have you seen my escape jet keys? (Perry nods) What, you have? Well that's great! So where are they? (Perry looks away) You won't tell me? Is this because you don't speak or are you just being a jerk?

Here was whatever was done at the time back when I was still learning: http://i.imgur.com/0Yxin.png Even though it most likely wouldn't be needed, RadSpyro is feel free to use it no problem.
Thanks very much for this! I'm ripping him very slowly, so this sheet will be a huge help.

Suggestion for Team Shoot: Do you know what tSR is sorely lacking in? It's arcade shoot-em-up enemies. No, not bosses, there's TONS of bosses. I mean the little grunts you shoot through to get to the boss. Like the tanks, turrets, jets, and helicopters of Aero Fighters. I'd do something about it, but I can't get the graphics files to load in Tile Molester (in fact, I've yet to find ANY arcade game's graphics file I can open in any graphic editor!) and sometime around version .07X the MAME team ruined the internal graphics viewer... you used to be able to very easily rip graphics from it, but now it's broken up into a grid and blocks the screen capture function from working while it is in use Sad

I plan on getting the minor enemies for the games I rip, starting with the first Parodius for the arcades.

Slime from King of Dragons. If your wondering why the slime's wall cling animation is red its because it only shows up in a specific stage. The green slime only appears during stage 3. If you want me to recolor the wall cling sprites to green just tell me.

I would recolour all of them and leave a single duplicate with the red palette for references.

Ok I'm done with the red slime to green.

Please how do you do to rip from PC Engine CD? I want to know this so badly!

I had no problems ripping from it, since I just use PrintScreen and Paint. I just created a custom grid that I use everytime I rip from Mame.

@Magma Dragoon: I am using Mednafen to rip from PC Engine (CD). It has a built-in Tileviewer: press Alt+D during gameplay, then Alt+2 to open the tileviewer. Switch between graphic planes with the cursor left and right keys and change the palette with ";" and "." - It doesn't show all the sprites from the game, but the stuff that is currently in memory.
You also need a Frontend, since Mednafen is command-line only.

That sounds incredibly useful. I don't think I'd be able to handle it for my PC CD rips though, I've never worked with a command-line only emulator. :<
