Oh man, Ys. That is a series that I really want to try out sometime. What's even the most accessible game in the series nowadays?

You know what... my posts on sexism are pretty much horse shit. Reading them back to myself they just sound like crap.
Normally I stand by my word but this case... man I was in the wrong. So yeah, I apologise. I was talking utter bollocks and I know it. If anyone quotes what I said in the future I'm going to lie and say it was my brother on my account.

Look we all say things that people aren't going to like. (I should know) But we can only hope that we all can move on and forgive one another huh?

This wasn't a case of me saying something I believed to be true and someone disagreeing about it though, this was me talking bollocks.
So yeah, I was wrong. Throwing my hands up and admitting it. There was a sheer lack of cognitive thought behind my posts. And now we can hopefully move on...

Despite Ys 7 on the PSP being kind of the en do f a lot of story elements, it's at the same time incredibly accessible in terms of playability and design, and you get caught up on dozens of games of history. i hear the couple of them on Steam are good places to start too Thanked by: Tellis

There are Ys games on Steam? o____o Want.
For me, my favorite games in the series have been the abhorently INaccessible ones. I just love obscure games. The fun part is that many of the original Ys games were on so many different systems with different hardware capabilities, different translators, everything comes the same, but different each time. It's a really interesting effect you don't see on a lot of game series.

Nice to know there are Ys fans here. Especially since the game is really obscure.
The most accessible game in the series is probably 1 & 2 Chronicles or Ys Seven. And oh my shit, the music in these games never disappoint. Never.

A lot of people consider Ys V's music to be a disappointment because it went for more of a traditional RPG sounding soundtrack instead of the classic Ys style, but even in that game the music was awesome.

Ys: Origin (which is a decent dungeon crawler thing, nothing to write home about) and Ys: Oath in Felghana (which is really rad from what I hear)
I couldv'e sworn I and II got ported, but I guess not.

I love Ys. It's a great "rest" RPG. Run into and punch things. Guitar solos.
After a Ys refresh, I can get back to Final Fantasies or whatever games I get burnt out on.
Black Mesa: Source released some new screenshots to celebrate their 20k likes on Facebook
http://www.screwattack.com/news/black-me...es/1625711 I also play lots of League of Legends these days.
