Is this any better?

It looks like a poke of sorts, but I can't really grasp how it works...Personally, I would prefer is he smacked across with the baguette or something. I get the style is supposed to be simplistic though, and the attack is supposed to be silly, but it's not my favorite out of your character's animations. The other stuff is pretty cool though! just a friendly reminder that the baguette can be layered and thus not be confined in the 64x64 space

Why are sprite boxes "multiples of 8"? I don't really understand the meaning for this rule. Even with the rule, can't Chris2Balls just make the box bigger instead of layering the baguette?
Since no one is actively programming the game, I don't see why there should really be any real limits "just in case". And if there is a question about what would make the programmer's job tougher, people can discuss it.

Even if it isn't being programmed, it's always a good idea to have everything uniform.
You don't really want crazy out of style/size/proportion things like you see in MUGEN stuff. These rules are here to keep everything similar looking as opposed to a mash up of various game artifacts. Thanked by: Chris2Balls [:B], Zadaben, TheShyGuy, Crappy Blue Luigi

I see what you mean, Iocus. It's something that I'm not too happy with. I'll see what I can do.
Gors: thanks for the reminder, I'll make use of this for the new forward kick! Vic animation: Thanked by: Vipershark, Paladin, Iceman404, Crappy Blue Luigi, Gwen

I only support if the camera dims out and slows down, with bling and camera flashes spammed throughout the screen for the duration. Thanked by: Crappy Blue Luigi, Gwen, psychospacecow
This is the first time I've done anything significant involving a game in years, but it's all coming back to me. Slowly but surely

Cool! I can't wait to try it out!
Regarding the background: I know you've got a placeholder in the meantime, but I think there are 3-4 existing backgrounds done for TFR: I think Nicktendo made at least two backgrounds: And I started one: (03-25-2014, 10:31 AM)Chris2Balls [:B] Wrote: And I started one: oh my GOD chris you GOTTA SF2 the heck out of those guys (you know, the 2-frame cheering) like, i know you've gotta finish the whole thing first, but oh man i'm actually psyched to see the finished product i really, really want to see a bush put up its arm to root for the fighters in the foreground for some reason. Another background I made for tFR roughly a year ago. Had to dig through the forums to find it.
It's Babylon Kingdom from my game, Princess Fantasy Catventure. Castle the giant golem (Babylon Kingdom boss) and Princess (main character) cameo in the background. Looks great Robo! Is there any way we can see it in action?
