okay everyone! let's not let the near-week-long downtime lessen our motivation for this project

i've got a SPECIAL SURPRISE that gors approved

he's not an assist anymore, but i'm not going to say how he fits into my moveset yet. i'm leaving that a surprise!

hopefully this new thing will help keep everyone's spirits and sprites up! make use of these new colors however you wish!

Is there a particular color palette we have to follow? Or just a limitted number?

I know there is a color palette for users to follow, though I am not sure how many colors can be used, and where to find the color palette in the first place, probably the original thread.

Crappy Blue Luigi posted the most up to date palette further up this page. You can use as many colours as you like, but the point is to keep it simple, like 2 colours to shade (look at Gilbert/Gors's sheets for this to get an idea).

Isn't the face a little off-center on CBL's crab thingy? The body seems to suggest kind of a 3/4th view, but the face is almost facing front. I think I'd move it right a pixel or two (perhaps move the front claw a pixel, too) He might also be a bit too wide, but maybe that's just me.

Also, Midi, are you certain about that? With a limited palette, you should always try to get creative!

I literally just swapped colors from the palette onto your avatar (yours is on the right), it doesn't even look too different brightness wise. It looks lighter, not darker? And I mean, you'd be using less colors on your sprites in this anyway so just choose the lighter shades in that case, dude.

i messed with the position/shape of gatsby's face, and also his claws and legs.
