Is there any way to convert the .DDS stuff into .PNG? I don't think we can accept them in that format.

Yeah, that'd be much better if you could do that.

Usually there is at least one single frame in the VRAM. And even if this sprite has black in it, you can swap to a wrong palette without black and combine both screenshots by laying correct palette sprite on wrong palette sprite to get the outlines for the frame.
And on the clean sheet, you can recolour the specified pieces back to black. But yeah, especially for fighters it's extremely tedious and I would rather rip from easier games (arcade, snes) than these ones (psx, saturn).
VRAM is not that good for fighting games.

That's exactly why I wanna rip it, coz nobody else does.
Sure that makes you happy? Personally, I have a limit when ripping is torturing my patience.
But as said, you can get everything with VRAM in perfect quality, but it takes a lot of time. And you have to snapshot the fighter's moveset with Animget first before you can replace the frames with the VRAM counterparts.
Good luck with these ones
Edit: If you have a physical copy of the game, you should always try PSicture. Sometimes it gives you every single texture/sprite from a game.

Tried that as well, but since this game wasn't encoded in the same way the others were, you end up with only event images. Which I should probably post..
