Well hey, as long as you enjoy it, it's all cool!
Really, after posting it (having read like one paragraph before lol) I read the rest of it and it doesn't sound too bad.

I like the idea of world-swappin' stompin' but I fear there'll be too much of said world-swappin' stompin' so the music and environment will just sort of start clashing over and over and I'll have no idea what's going on, and the admittedly good-sounding music will become just noise.
I'd love to try it though! Thanked by: Kitsu

Saw this, it was interesting:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1220951156/sanjiten Read some of it. Quote:It has all the elements one might expect from a standard non-educational video game including an item collection system (with hidden items), a player scoring system, a complex rewards system incorporating a game economy with unlockable content, and also some fun achievements.Suddenly sad kitten.

That doesn't look too bad. I mean educational games will never ever be fun, at least personally, they'll always have that "learning" factor that makes them feel like a chore. Although in this case it's for learning languages, which is mostly voluntary anyway.
This is going in the right direction though. This might work with other subjects such as maths or the sciences too. Thanked by: Kitsu
No, make it only for japanese language and culture. That's all that's needed for it to sell well and be effective.
I don't know if anybody else knows this but apparently Nintendo Power is no in more in the future
http://ca.ign.com/articles/2012/08/21/fa...endo-power this was so much apart of my childhood it isn't even funny it feels like i am losing a part of me or one of my best friends

Yeah I heard about Nintendo Power, wasn't really a thing over here in the UK but it's such a part of Nintendo history it's still rather shocking.
+ Isn't that kinect Sesame Street game meant to be good and educational? |
