Hello everyone! Like what you see? These are a few of the many animations featured in the upcoming cross-platform tactics game, "Auro."
I am Blake, the lead artist and this is very much a labor of love for DinofarmGames, the developers who brought you the popular iOS game, "100 rogues."
This is the culmination of months of work with no backing, and we now have the opportunity to finish this game as the polished, commercial-grade product it deserves to be.
If you like how this is coming along and you want to know more about this original tactics game, please, please show your support for your fellow indie developers by visiting our kickstarter page.
The more support we get, the more we can continue to pay our coder to refine the software and work to implement the design tweaks and features which evolve from playtesting, and the more tilesets, effects, animations and music I can produce alongside our lead designer.
As you know, pixel art is a very time consuming, labor intensive process. But I really believe in this project and I hope some of you will come to as well.
this is a really special game. If you don't wish to pledge, sharing on facebook would be a huge favor and we at Dinofarm Games appreciate every bit of your time.
thank you, please enjoy!
Auro's Kickstarter!
Very nice! Please do more!
You gotta love snivy.

God... Don't quote the entire post just for a tiny and entirely worthless comment like that...

The tail of the 3rd character look static and it doesn't look like is on the ground either, some movement would be nice.
At first glance I though the hexagon at the back is suppose to be a cube where you measure your character size, but later when I realise is a tile; all your character look strange when not position on the central of it.
Originally we were going for a sort of mix of abstract game pieces sliding and a more illustrative idle animation. As the game has developed, we've moved the sprites up to look more like they're standing on the tile in a 3d way. you can see the latest mockups on our kickstarter page, which, btw has only 3 days left. Anything we get at this point is still crucial, because most of it will be towards paying our coder to finish the software.

I'm going to say, its been 3 pages and like 10 days
I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but you should post the animations at 1x, because from the looks of those screenshots, the Sel-Out doesn't look to good on a few of them.
