Most reviewers rarely use the bottom half of the scale unless the game stands out as extremely terrible, so I guess on a scale 0f 5-10, 7 is close to average.

He's making a completely differenct point that games with reviews less than 7/10 or 70% rating are crap. Not that its the conventional 'average'.

my mom sold my graphics card to my eye doctor so i cant play. what a bitch.

I bought and downloaded it yesterday, took about 3 hours to download over the campus wireless and another hour to install. I started playing and suddenly I realize it's nighttime. It's mind-bogglingly fun for me at least. I got to space age in one sitting, and dang is it fun to play. I'm thinking of trying a legless or eyeless creature and see how that goes.
But yeah, if any of you want to blow through the game, play it like an RTS and go on the all-out offensive, but make sure you're an omnivore for easy food early on. \

i enjoyed playing through the cell stage. creature stage crashes my PC due to integrated graphics

My older sister is trying to download it into the computer regardless of how many times I tell her that the graphics card isn't good enough. If I couldn't play the demo due to that I doubt that I could play the game without a new one.

The main game is in fact having of a higher requirement in regards to grapics. If you've got an ATI card that can run it, you'll still have graphical glitches, case in point the minimap is hashed into junk. Hopefully they patch this soon, I'm pretty much flying blind. Anyhow, I've gotten two species to space age from start, starting to beat the game on hard mode (Cell and Creature stage only, with a blind creature, for fun).

I played it.
And my god I haven't had that much fun since. I don't know.

It's quite absorbing, and aparently addictive.
I downloaded it sunday. I played it a bit in the commons room with my friends while we hung out. Convinced a friend to buy a copy. Yesterday, I was playing a little bit between classes while I ate, a few of my friends saw me and my buddy from last night playing and we convinced two more people to buy the game. A third will buy it when he has money again. A few others are seriously considering purchasing it too. What kinda critter did you make Kay?
His name was Mintslice. ( Because I was eating them at the time )
But he started off as a herbivore, was longish and really fast, Then I changed it into a carnivore.. It got really fat and by then I was on land.. I turned it into a Yoshi type thing but it was dark purple. It was really cute It slowly grew 1 hand, but on its tail. So when I got into the tribal age.. The hole spear and Axe thing looked awesome xD I just got into the Civi age and by then it was like 11pm.. and I had to be up really early the next day and sadly had to leave. But I might be downloading something now, who knows Yes, an amazing game and I REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY want to play it >.>
