Ditto. It is a mess of a game. Plays more like a traditional beat'em up than Battletoads.
There's even enemies recycled from other beat'em ups. making it less like Battletoads altogether.

I'm also interested with this game you're working on. sounds cool.

Anyway, let's get on-topic.

@T0misaurus's rips
A) With General Slaughter, he does have a hurt sprite. It's just hard to trigger, by carefully hitting him with a normal jab.
- Plus everytime he get's knocked down. Scars appear on his body, and loses teeth as well.
- Finally the death sprite when he gets launched into the background is the last thing left.

B) Mr Frosty is missing his intro animation. Considering its hard to rip this game.
- It take too much time editing the snowstorm off everything.

C) the rat enemies are mostly perfect. Swat-Rat is just missing his second hurt animation.
- As said before, it sucks the tile-viewer doesn't work with this game. Since the gun is obviously a layer

Even finding ways to rip the second boss, Karnath, would be annoying. Due to the zooming in/out effect, and the fact he's made of segments.

His hurt sprite is there,it's the first one on the last row,i know his ''launched into background sprite is missing'' i tried to rip it but the letters keep getting in the way

Yes, this game is very difficult to cut out the sprites. You at least look like the screenshots go to their cut. They are every time you need to edit in Photoshop to the desired size before the frame you want to photograph.

The second level is the effect of strain due to the presence of a snowstorm.

So Mr. Frosty and Rabid Rudolph cut me thanks to the huge efforts and the sprites still look clumsy. So here this is such a game.Surprise

In rats lacking animation expansion in the bone.
