also steel does have a weakness fire,water and ground, types pwn steel with super effective attacks, so sadly steel types in this series actually don't have balls of steel -.-

I'd say a combanation of Dark and Ghost or Ghost and Dragon are my faves(I'm vvvvvery picky when it comes to pokemon.)

steel takes neutral damage from water
water pokemon just resister steal type attacks

Also, I should point out that you can like a type for its own specific attributes instead of just because your favorite pokemon is that type.
I like fighting because of how perfectly it fits on every pokemon's move set.
Also as someone who usually play offensively fighting types moves really appeal because of there high power high risk nature.

I love them too, mostly because my favorite Pokémon are ghosts.

I also like Psychic and Water.

Mainly due to their nigh-invunrability. Ghost types are like that, but take damage from fighting types (aka hero in japan). and a few other types could deal decent damage to them.

I wanna say rock types, but steel types being high-damage move hosts.

Yeah, Slowbro's totally my... bro. Also Alakazam. I'm kind of amazed there aren't any others who said Psychic was first and foremost their fave.
I should totally draw myself as that gym leader sometime.

I can't really choose but I'd probably have to say Rock. They're just so rugged and almost always look cool. Plus I'm loving my Boldore (previously Roggenrola) right now.
Geodude has also probably got to me my favourite Pokemon ever of all time. I remember it ever since I first heard of Pokemon and it's always been awesome to me. I can't wait to reach Kanto in Black.
