I just want to throw out an idea now, since I'm interested in it this one and don't have time for it (And was interested in the previous two as well).
Can we have an archive and/or "what I would have done if I had the time for it thread" where we could have a bunch of links to (Locked) old compo's in the first post and the rest of the posts could be filled pieces that people make as if they were entering one of the former TSR compos.
sort of like a general TSR no-time-limit, just for fun challenge topic.
I know nothings stopping me from making a too-late-to-matter just for fun entry without such a thread, but I'm sure others could take inspiration from past contests (and it would be easier to find the rules and subject with a thread).

I think this has dragged on quite long enough (I don't know the current status of those affected by the hurricane) I agree with the final deadline being at most Sunday, September 9th.

I'm A-Okay here, it was only minor damage on my part, unsure about the others though. Aside from that, I can't seem to find my mojo and my entry is mostly recycled parts.. Really I wasn't really trying hard enough, I had too much going on at once, hurricane included.
Though it would be intresting to see other entries try to top Keiang's. let's place a bet

All for Sunday.
As for the archive idea, I really like it. I'm not sure exactly how it would work, but it's a great way to concentrate a bunch of attempts at an old challenge for fun (bc he/she was late, joined after the contest happened, just want to try it again, etc,). I would really love to see that happen--possibly a sub-forum within S&PA dedicated only to the weekly challenges, but without a time limit? The OP from the actual archived challenge could be copied over and made into a thread with no intention of the "contest" ending.
I think this could work, and would be a great way to inspire anyone while being able to get C+C without having to create a completely new thread.
Of course, the weekly challenges will still continue, but this one could act as a stress free, no pressure, very casual "inspiration", I guess?

I just remembered something.. If the dragon by itself would break the limit, why not zoidberg have him be part of the background, as there's a VERY interesting story behind the mecha dragon in Mega Man 2 with the technical doodads behind the boss.

I was honestly thinking about that, but couldn't remember if that would work.

Looks really cool Meta. I'll probably vote for yours or Virtuaboy's.
