Alright, here's another batch of sheets ready for action!

Three suggestions:
- I think the original resolution for the Super Mario Bros. Special Tileset is enough, even if it's scaled up ingame.
- Has the Ending sheet for Thunder & Lightning (ARC) only these sprites? Not any backgrounds or other special stuff which belongs to that sequence and which you could add?
- This one: http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac331...1346978978
When you update a sheet and submitted already x sheets called "Blocks", you could say where it comes from (to make updating faster for the mods).

Besides that, nice rips again Smile

Actually, he has it under Thunder & Lightning, under the ending sheet, so I can see where it goes just fine. Thanks anyway though for trying to be helpful. Smile
I'll see about grabbing these a little later.

Well I have both rips of PC88 SMBS in for those that want to use the scaling of the original NES game, and want a cleaner look at the sprites. Thunder and Lightning's ending uses the same background as the overworld map used if the player loses a life in the main game, and the ending does include text, but it is unreadable. Sad

On a side note, I updated Goindol's blocks sheet, now including the animations for damaging or destroying a block.

Oh uh, as a suggestion that'd make things helpful for me, I notice in the system category you have things like "MSX" and "Sharp X1". While it's neat to know the exact platform for these games, we don't have those specific categories on TSR. So I'd like to ask you to also list them as either going under just PC/Computer or Other Systems so that I won't have to look up whether that platform is a computer or actual console. Tongue

While I'm at it, I'm gonna ask, do MSX games go under Other Systems, "FLASH" games under PC, and PC88 games under PC?

My sincere apologies for making the system too complex. Flash games should go under PC, while MSX and PC88 would go in "Other Systems".

What emulator do you use for PC88? And, (kinda off-topic) do you happen to have Thunder Force? Not only I'd like to play it, it would be cool if you ripped it too!

The emulator I used for SMBS' PC88 version is "M88", which I got off of HarcoreGaming101's "Hudson's Lost Super Mario Triolgy" page.

In regards to Thunder Force, I don't have any plans to rip the graphics from that game. Sorry. Ouch!

UPDATE: Got the stuff ready to upload the PC game "Popcorn"
[Image: ScreenShot2012-09-01at124226AM.png][Image: PopcornBlocks.png]

I also have the sprites, but not the icons for both the ZX Spectrum and MSX ports of Arkanoid II/ Revenge of DOH.

2nd. UPDATE: I ripped Blocken's mugshots, although I didn't get the blinking or attacking frames of the computer characters.

Since Twin Squash was of the same genre (Lovechild of Puyo Puyo and Breakout), I ripped it's characters as well. Just one image per character, since that's all what appears ingame.

One more for the heck of it: "Block Gal" an arcade game:

Have been considering updating Thunder & Lightning's ending sheet so it includes the background and (unreadable) text.

Doubleposting in your own submission topic is no big deal Wink

Nice rips as always, the Twin Squash characters remind me of Pu-Li-Ru-La.

Big thanks for the advice; I feel relieved. Tongue Hopefully the sheets that span throughout the third page of this topic will be accepted onto the site soon.

I somehow got a Pocket Zaurus (NES) vibe after seeing some new rips of the game Jungle no Ouja Tarzan (Bandai made both games), so I went through and took some screens of the game, and I'll compile them into a sprite sheet later.

But I did make the icons in advance. With some clever usage of the Pause button, I was able to screencap an action packed scene.
And of course the sheet icon for Hashimoto, the game's protagonist.

EDIT: The Hashimoto sheet is ready!
[Image: PocketZaurusSprites.png](I can edit the background color if it's too dark or bright)

UPDATE: A new sheet, this time for "Puyo Puyo" (NES)
[Image: PuyoPuyoGameIconTSR.png][Image: PuyoPuyoSpriteSheetTSRv2.png] (EDIT: Sheet icon now has transparent BG)

I don't feel up to uploading/updating again yet... Ton? Anyone?
Also justin could you not use the sheet's background color for the icons? It'd be preferred if you just put the sprites on the icon's background.
