Or you don't have to... as long as he pastes the model render over the background then the border on top then they're fine (you can however save the blank icon with the text inputted from IM, then load it into your image program to place the image I guess).
No one wants to save each of those character renders individually just to load into Icon Maker. It's easier with Photoshop anyway because they require re-sizing.
For anyone who has Photoshop though I have a model icon template that easens the process a lot.

For Kraid, is that his T-Pose? Because he's hunched over in such a way that part of his belly implodes. If that's his T-Pose, I'll upload it, but otherwise I suggest getting a new pose for him.

For Marill, is that the trophy or the in-game model?

And Mighty Jetters, those are great icons! Could you change some of them, though? Specifically, Luigi, Pikachu, Pichu, DK, and Jigglypuff are a bit too far to the right, which makes them look awkward.


The only ones I haven't uploaded yet are Kraid and Marill, until I get some clarification.

Okay these took a little while because the Photoshop procedure is somewhat slow but here they are~

Can't really do that because they're cut off past the line of pixels I have sitting right against the border of the icons, unfortunately. They don't look good cut off, either.

Marill's a trophy, and no Kraid isn't T-posed, but it was the best I could do. Just skip him for now.

All right. I decided to add Kraid anyway, as it's the only Kraid model we have so far. Just be sure to replace it if you get the chance. In fact, could you also rip the Kraid Trophy? Just so there's an alternative.

Peardian, I think that's where the image cuts off on those icons. Melee select portraits are weird.
