Who's that asshole on the street? The one who never stops or slows down for yellow lights, and speeds right through them?
Not me...I'm still practicing for my license, but it's not worth the trouble of trying to race the light. You'll probably be held up by the next one anyway, so you'ere better off just waiting, and NOT potentially causing a wreck.

Depends if I'm in a hurry, but most of the time I'll stop. The amber light is there so that people don't end up shooting red lights because it changed before they could stop. I treat it as such.

It depends. Yellow lights aren't some kind of cryptic puzzle or anything.
Once you drive for a while and are able to gauge distances at speed more correctly (and are actually -paying attention-), you also magically gain the ability to have a rough idea of how long yellow lights last from actually seeing them.
I used to stop on every yellow when I was new to driving but now that I can gauge distances I generally speed up a bit to get through them. Yeah, I stop at some, but nowhere near as often.
It's as simple as:
Of course that's a bit more simplified and depending on traffic layout and stuff each light can be different, but this is pretty much the basic thought process on any yellow light.

it means there's something wrong with my PC.
It means my Wii is turned off. c:
Vipershark's got it. I seem to recall that in the US there's some places that don't even have the yellow light, just red and green? That just seems retarded to me.

I've never seen a place anywhere in the US that has only a Red and Green light.
I imagine if there is/was, it would be in a scarcely populated area.
In the rare case that you stumble upon an intersection with a functioning stoplights in Egypt, sometimes they have these real cool countdown ones. It's just a big screen that counts down in red or green letters from 60. There's no need for a yellow light since you can see how much seconds you've got left before it turns red. It also gives you a fair warning when it's going to turn red, rather than a few short seconds that a yellow light gives you.
Personally I think this is the best method, at least on busy streets that almost always have traffic (which is like every street in Egypt).

Well, I guess it means my neighbours turned off their WiFi routers (and I guess it was my fault... )
I'm Ridge Racer. What the hell do you think I voted for?
No but really, I do my best to stop (they're a warning after all), unless there are a shitton of cars behind me - then I usually go through it.

I'd agree, but recently I've been unplugging mine and taking out the disc. So... Guess you could say I don't even stop for the red light.
