Not to sound like a hippy, but violence isn't the answer. That is partly PETA's problem - disregard for people (and animals, at that) - but also their funding of other organisations and the verbal support for the action of heavy terrorist acts in the name of animal freedom.
The problem is that we who give a shit are far and few between. I checked PETA's facebook page only to find 4 friends who like them on there, all of whom have pets. People don't look into shit. You read "Ethical Treatment" and you think they they agree with YOUR ethics, which is really not the case.
