that is really famous in Japan and quite referenced in a lot of media, so I'm somewhat surprised you didn't know about it. The bowl looks okay, in chape, but the painting on it and its base is jaggy. I'd make the chopstick black too, so it doesn't like to sticks of uncooked noodle.

I was worried about the whole dried noodle look. I changed them to black and tried giving them a little more character by changing the bottom color (I have seen some chopsticks with similar designs), the contrast might be a little strong there however.



Also I tried to correct the jaggy band on the bowl. I need to get better at recognizing jaggies.

The Bottom of the bowl looks jaggy still! mabe the last line needs to be longer!

Done, and your right. It does look better. I also combined two incredibly similar colors (normal black outline and black shade).
