Though not technically a Christmas gift (We don't celebrate it here. We have Sinterklaas instead, but we don't celebrate that anymore either), but I'm hoping to get Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the 3DS, once it's finally released.
I don't ask for much, but when there is a game I really like, I can't leave my parents alone Tongue
Of course, I always try to pay for it myself If I can. Currently it's not the case. Haven't had a commission in months.

There's honestly nothing I need nor want. Besides some extra cash from extended family members so that I can pay for college and take more burden off of my parents. I pay for it as much as I can now which covers tuition but that leaves my parents with my book bill. I rent so it's not overly expensive but I still don't like leaving them with that tab, especially since they're letting me live here for free (and I've offered to pay rent) since I'm starting at community college.

It's not that a game, gift card to store or clothes (and I could always use more since I basically wear the same thing every week) aren't appreciated. But that's stuff I can buy on the side when I have the extra cash. A giftcard might be as good as money at the store or website it's for but I can't exactly hand that in to the business office and go "Ok I'll see you in a few weeks with my next installment".

The hell. Get yourself some pepernoten and oliebollen, man.

Now that I'm older I usually want more practical gifts than novelty gifts/toys/games etc. I can buy games and such on my own if I really need them, so I ask for things I REALLY need. Like clothes and underwear and socks and stuff. Asked my parents for a new winter coat.

I think I really want a new hard drive or something. I'm running out of space on my computer.

That or like, nothing. The only person I expect to get me anything is Charlie, and she and I are saving for a wedding and a house. So anything she spends I'd rather go into savings...

I just enjoy the food and drink of Christmas.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

This is my first Christmas in York with just the missus thanks to work, so well - I'm not so sure about it. Always been a big family thing to me.

Gift-wise, anything that shows some thought, and more importantly is a surprise, is awesome. Buying me stuff that I could easily buy myself is good, but that something that takes a bit of effort is always appreciated.

Okay, it seems getting anything at all is an absolute no.
My parents can't even afford to pay my brother back (he lent them money because we sometimes struggle to get through the month), let alone spare me some money I could pay back eventually.
We are having pizza for dinner tonight, but that's just a meager comfort for the horrible financial hell I'm forced to live with. Luckily, I'm close to having my support payment thingy I don't know how it's called in English (uitkering) for my autism, which I'll probably start getting end Januari, and with that, I'm going live with my friends around February/March and try to find a job in the games industry. Hopefully my life'll get a little more prosper from then on.
I'm sorry to darken the mood with the chaos I'm currently involved in.

My aunt is importing this from the UK for me as part of our organized gift exchange Smile
I got my baby cousin in this gift exchange and bought her some neat stuff.

Other this, though, I really don't have a Christmas list.

Honestly, just money would be cool. I might ask my grandpa if he can send me a couple hundred in order to get a functional TV, since I've been able to find 26" flatscreens for about $230. It'd be nice to replace my nearly-nonfunctional old TV with something that not only doesn't cut the display out constantly, but has sound.

Not to mention, with winter break approaching a lot of my coworkers don't have classes, which means everyone is competing for shifts at work. I'm only getting like 30 hours a week at most, so something to fall back on just in case would be lovely.
