Spyro from Spyro YOTD
#1
Here are some textures of Spyro from Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The textures were ripped with 3D Ripper DX on ePSXe and compiled together with Pain.NET.

Feel free to let me know if there are any problems.

I don't wanna sound like a drag, but if you could make your credit tag a bit smaller that'd be great. Tongue
It just looks needlessly large by just a bit, that's all.

The huge text should be fixed now. Cool

3-D Ripper DX... I've heard about that before:

But it never worked for me, do I have to install another program like MS Framework?

I'm not really sure about installing another framework.

Here's what I typically do when ripping textures w/ ePSXe & 3D Ripper DX:
-Start up 3D Ripper DX
-Set up said program (I also set the output directories to individual folders per game)
-Click Launch (ePSXe should launch)
-Configure video plugin (I'm using "Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.76")
-When the Emulator is running you should see "Ready to capture" in a box
-Press whichever key you have bound to capture
-When you feel you're done ripping, navigate to the folder where the textures were ripped to
-The texture files are in .DDS (DirectX Texture) format. Pain.NET is able to open this format.
-Open files, then crop what you want.

Here are some examples of a ripped texture bank:
-From Ape Escape (Primarily a 3D game):

-From Gex (Primarily a 2D game):
