i like the 4th one the most
though be wary when shading her, if you do it like the 3rd one, you won't be giving her volume, but rather make it jump out like a sticker. look for references to shade it accordingly to the muscle positions. also I still like ran's hair color, it is easier on the eye, but your call. Found my old gbc and DQM2 game a decided to play it looked at my team and saw the "shantak monster" so I tried to draw it using a ref.
(I like the design but I feel like the colors are too boring) Also mediocre animations

dqm2 is the greatest game in the history of games i have a shantak too let's have a shantak party i also have a taileater and his name is munch and
I love the way you redid its design, but the head and neck seem like they're facing a different direction than the body. Was that present in the original sprite? Either way it seems just a bit awkward. Thanked by: Virtuaboy123

your main issue when shading is that you are shading spherical shapes like buttons, see
the highlight should spread across the surface, not stack on the borders and form a half-moon shape, unless it's a button or a flat cylinder. Thanked by: Chris2Balls [:B], Zadaben, Virt

I still think you can make the pose more dynamic for the young lady. Note how I create a dialogue between broken lines and curves, to give a feeling of movement:

Finally decided to work some more.
I agree with Ran Master on 3 n 4 I feel like she's twisting too much. If I did have he in that position I think i'd have to reposition her breasts to be facing foward more. her left foot in pic 2 looks wierd, being completely profile. And I think it should be bigger.
