I'm compressing the different files, sadly mediafire doesn't let downloads bigger than 200mb so it's more than 1 file to download, I'll update the post with the download links. A question, How did you extract the texture? Hex editing or something?

Not really, I just opened the KLDATA in GGD and scavenged it down. Palettes were directly after the texture lol
And after that, there was some data I couldn't make out. I'm lead to believe that this is the model, bone, animation and/or UV data. I could be wrong, but I honestly can't think of anywhere else for them to be. Because, honestly, if they aren't any of those, what are they? We'll see when I dig into PPTPack and the SRs.

But then the bad news: I have no idea how to read the models. You should consult someone smarter here or the people at XENTAX or Romhacking.net. Sorry.

What is GGD? Also since the models are just a bunch of text, I just need to find that part of text that is a model and I need to find the format, it's "easy" Tongue

EDIT: found it's a general graphical dump program, are you using TiledGGD?

No, I'm a macfag and TiledGGD doesn't run through Mono (I think?). There's a separate, original program called GGD, it's essentially TiledGGD but doesn't have as many features.
I don't get what you mean with "models are just a bunch of text". And how can you 'find' a format?
Getting inside the KLDATA2-5 now.

EDIT: KLDATA1 and KLDATA5 look eerily similar. They're exactly the same size, they begin the same, they end the same, the middle parts are exactly the same... The MD5 hashes don't match though, so they aren't 1:1. I don't have diff so I can't pinpoint exactly where the differences occur, but since there's five of these, would it be safe to assume that these are batch "stuff" files that get loaded in only a few occasions. Are there like, five worlds in the game? Five levels? Five instances where it would make sense to load a bunch of shit to RAM? I've never played the game sorry. :<

I'm a Macfag too, can you give me the download link for GGD? About models, the bunch of text is the polygons's coordinates and UV, and about the format people sometimes get models by hex editing and getting the text, thensaving it as a txt and rename it to the different model formats to see which one works

I honestly can't believe it's that simple. GGD is here. I suggest reading Ragey's fantastic tutorial regarding GGD. It runs through both, Crossover and WINE, even on Intel Tigers. I'm a Snow Leopard myself.

there are 5 kingdoms in the game, so maybe each KLDATA contains files for these levels. Wonder if there's a way to join together all the KLDATA files, maybe something new could pop out. I'm gonna upload the other files, I think character models could probably be there, PPT could stand for something related to PLAYER models.

EDIT: SR.SMV and SR25.SMV are credits videos, I can open them with vlc, so I'm only uploading PPTPACK.BIN
EDIT2: wtf sr.smv is 141mb, and sr25 too, they're the same video and they have no audio, perhaps hidden files?

How did you install GGD on your mac? I'm trying with winebottler but it doesn't work

You don't have to 'install' it. Just open the EXE with WINE.
And yeah, if there's 5 kingdoms in the game, it's obvious the KLDATAs represent the data that's loaded in every corresponding kingdom.
Digging into PPTPack now.

EDIT: It's nothing visual. No idea what it is, but the structure is kinda funny. Maybe a compressed archive or something?
Also, I could narrow out the music files if someone finds me a PSF2 rip of the soundtrack.

You're sure it's .PSF2?
.PSF is the format for emulated Playstation music.
.PSF2 is the format for emulated Playstation 2 music.
Could be that it has not been ripped yet. I haven't found it anywhere.

UPDATE: I Think I finally found out how to fix the superdeformed model. The infinitely long parts in the 3dvia ripped model, are only the cel shading, because the real model inside the cel shading is "flat". I just got 3dsmax 2013 with student license and I can fix the model like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-uXeXjut...r_embedded#!
So I guess I finally found how to rip. Only problem is I have to re UV everything but I don't really care. It's easy.
