Man I'm laughing so hard at people keeping denying it was true

Even though we had a leaked poster much like Keldeo's, even though the site for the film had the same design to accomodate two formes for Mewtwo like Keldeo's, etc

It looks pretty nice too

Based on the leaked movie poster I was disappointed in how similar they were, but now that a clearer image of it came out I'm a bit happier with how it looks.

Mewtwo's chances to return to Smash Bros just skyrocketed.

Yeah, I'm not going to lie that the design looks better without the poster.

Can't say I like the idea though =X oh well. guess I'll deal with it now. (Although, nothing really confirmed it as another form of mewtwo. It seems highly likely but I want localizations of this first.)

That being said I now have a good reason to nickname mewtwo frieza.

Yeah it was the timing of the leak that made people deny this was real (way too close to April Fools).

But this new "Mew" is growing on me. I'm hoping it's a new member to the "family" and not an alternate form.

They also said the... what's the name, the two fusion-esque Pokémon from Black and White 2 were new Pokémon. It's a marketing deal, they raise attention by going WHOOOAAA NEW POKÉMON WHO IS??!?!?!!!

And then they go "IT'S ACTUALLY MEWTWOO?? wHAT A SURPRISE"

Consider the following as a counterpoint:

- It occupies the same spot as Mewtwo in the posters
- Mewtwo's place in the site for the film has two empty spots under it. Keldeo's place in the site for his film had two empty spots under it. The spots ended up being for his two formes, normal and... new.

You know, Far as the way this generation is going so far I like the fact that it's making connections to Gen 1, More so than the previous generations aside from 2. So in comparison to generations 3-5 I'm starting to welcome more of these new ideas.

I hope the game isn't Gen 1 centric though. That would suck horribly.

Anyway, this new Mewtwo clicked right away with me, I'm actually liking it better than the original...

I would actually bet on that. Possibly as a safety measure since this is the Gen jumping to the 3DS, but the last generation we had that was as focused as this one on the idea of genetics and whatnot was... Gen 1.

I liked him as soon as I saw the poster.
(I actually like his design more the regular Mewtwo. Don't shoot me)

I like that they are still referring back to the original gen instead of just ignoring them. I don't see an upgrade to Mewtwo as being a bad thing if it's pulled off well.

I also would love to see him in SSBU/4.
Since Mewtwo is a highly requested character and whatnot this new form could be his ticket back into the series.
