Meh Dragonite use thunder or Haxorus use Earthquake/Super Power But I guess you mean switch in to take a dragon attack. It's still not fast enough to cause problems, unless it can learn ice shard. But think about this, you used one pokemon slot to absorb a dragon type attack, and it was a water type (there are so many other water types who aren't fairy type and deal with dragons better). It can't do much else... Hopefully this gen has better fairies to represent it. Also I think Blissey becomes like queen of fairies because of this.(assuming it gets this typing)

How can people even say that.
I like it. Also to saying the designs don't seem pokemon like, I think its just you are used to the ones you grew up with. Because in reality Thanked by: Gwen, redblueyellow, Tellis, Garamonde, TomGuycott, Mutsukki, puggsoy, DioShiba, Zadaben, Marth

I'll do you one better
Concepts only seem similar if its based on similar things and this isn't the best example either. (people dont say any digimon look like pokemon) What's good about flabebe is it doesn't look like any pokemon we've seen, also it doesn't look like any digimon either.(I looked) However the idea that it bonds with the flower it finds for life(meaning it dies when its flower dies?) and being only 4 inches in size will have all sort of jokes. Kind of like cubone and kangaskhan. Thanked by: Garamonde, megaMasquerain

Sorry but that large picture doesn't apply to me because I did nothing but praise Gen 5 for being like Gen 1 in terms of ideas and designs.
It was Gen 3 I had problems with. Thanked by: Kriven

I'm actually not sure if I can pick a favorite Gen., they all have favorites and particular likes of mine and as I've said before, I legitimately do not hate or dislike a single Pokémon. there are definitely plenty I don't care for but I cannot think of one that I've looked at and just outright thought disapproval.

Gen II is my favorite for many reasons. For starters, they brought the most staples to the series, such as breeding and PokeTech (PokeGear, then it was the PokeNav, etc.). It houses my ultimate favorite Pokemon, Lanturn. Next, these sets of games were the ONLY games to have more than one region and 8 badges in a single game. In addition, they're the only games that actually showed what happened to the previous protagonist, as well as allowing you to challenge them (the ultimate challenge of the game). Crystal brought us the Battle Tower, which was the start of the Battle Frontier. Gen II (and it's remakes) have never been topped in terms of amount of content and things to do, and I doubt they ever will.

Yeah almost everyone has their favorite Gen and their least favorite Gen. It just means you have tastes.

Another new pokemon, this time steel/ghost:
Definitely didn't see this coming. I wonder if they're going to do something along the lines of Mother 3 and have two others that can combine into a stronger pokemon (just a thought). http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy...heet/6144/
