In my workflow i hand keyframe everything.

it uses frames, its kinda like stop motion but with cgi models....infact we just rigged Jack Skelington's model a few weeks back.
it's got a slider of frames. i have't figured out how to save motion data so i use other peoples data and modifiy them each time i make a video. and with that here are more photos this one was for a anouncemnt for a new deviantart group this was testing out lighting and backgrounds this one was a challange as the Tai model i made has texture issues with his crotch area (crotchless shorts) this one was an experament with angles of sky domes for (some reason this reminds m of ghost in the shell) this one was a test of realistic backgrounds and 3d models (the street shown is the original inspiration for locations in the tamer's series) this one was a test of my first rigged model a test of a rigged model and a x.file leek and stage another test of a realistic photo background and a new model (also from tamers) and this.... well this was just for LOLs

I was just curious because since there's already and abundant source of rigged models and big freeware community I was curious why someone hadn't stepped otuside of the realm of dances and made something feauture level with it. Maybe no one's had the time in that community yet. Mod note: That's a MASSIVE thing to quote. Please be sensible with that especially when its the post directly above yours.

welll there are other things rather than dances but most of those are either in the form of short videos simular to the family guy cut aways
or are big elaborate videos (which are almost always from japan) that and you can't do commercial stuff with this program so it's all one big hobby

Hey ValforWing, where did you get those Digimon Models?
09-16-2011, 10:52 PM
these are all from DMO, i downloaded them off MMD-Game-Rips for my artwork...so far only guilmon, and renamon are public models...the others are either available but have no rigging or the links got taken down (wargreymon and black wargreymon are custom models made for MMD and not rips)
i've got ALOT of them right now and i'm waiting for them to be rigged so i can make artwork with them. all of the season 1 rookies most of their champion forms, ultimate forms and mega forms every tamer digimon save for marineangemon. and a few dats models as well

you should make a comic
09-18-2011, 01:26 AM
i would be so far only a few of them have been rigged
i'm not good at story telling anymore but i got friends that do...i'm better at single picture art now. like this here is guilmon eyeing his guilmon bread.... it was actually a second guilmon model discovered but i could'nt get anyone to rig...so i decided to turn him into a cake This one here is Keramon crashing my computer this one is takato and growlmon dealing with a bio-emerging Greymon simular to the LOLcat Ceiling cat...except he watches your internet loads porn onto your desktop i did'nt have a model of joe so i used Matt when i was displaying this Ikakumon model off....it's HUGE and last but not least is this baby the area is from Third Birthday and i placed 2 kyuubimon models inside, then i fliped the whole camera upside down and angeled it so that the bubbles showed but not the blood floor. with the models not being rigged i can't do much with them comic wise.

I am working on one myself but I'm not sure if I should use the mmo or wait for the psp game
09-19-2011, 07:13 PM
theres a digimon PSP game?
see the MMO is down right now until closed beta comes out i participated in pre-close-beta it's a shame i can't share all the model's i've come upon because there are ALOT. i'm no ripper but i'm a hell of a bulk converter. i've probably got 700+ models on my computer right now. i do plan on makeing a comic useing the digimon models but so far 2 factor's are preventing such i don't have a model of jeri and my leomon model is not rigged either.
09-19-2011, 08:47 PM
its coming out in 2012 it uses the models from Digimon world data squad its called digimon world re digitize its sort of a successor to digimon world one
09-20-2011, 12:48 AM
...so it's another data squad game even though data squad has been out for ALONG time now....
digimon world data squad sucked...i played it and got 100% on everything but i hated the storyline....at least with the new online game i can play with my friends and we can make up our own storyline to try to forget about the data squad one. i've managed to convert more models today then ever...about 30. most are more digimon models....if i can just get a few of them rigged i can start on that comic....i started a contest for my digimon group over who could rig the leomon model first...so far nothing but they have till the 30th. |
