When ever I try to rip models from a game with 3D ripper I get an almost flat model. At first I thought it was just animal crossing then it turned out to be every game I rip from, is there anyway to fix this?
Using 3D max 2012, importing from 3d ripper as an obj. - 3dr isnt supported.

thank you, it's just weird the models look like something from a pop up book.

I have no idea unfortunately... I haven't used 3D Ripper DX in a long time...

3dsmax 2011 is the most up-to-date that 3dripperdx supports, from what I saw when I installed the newest version.
As for .obj rips? They do in fact work sometimes, but it is very much on a game by game basis. For example I can get nearly perfect obj rips from Metroid Prime, but almost never from Metroid Prime 2.

Aye, they often are. But I've gotten some great rips for my Metroid mod that way, so I won't knock the method entirely.
