This has been a long time coming since they decided to make everyone pay for playing a game online.

And that's just for playing a game online. It's stupid because they shove down a bunch of other crap a gamer does not need for playing on their console.

EDIT: Speaking of which I wouldn't be surprised if they rushed the console like they did with the 360.

Paying for xbox live isn't that dumb, they had much more secure networks, dedicated servers and it was $5 a month. Hardly a bank breaker. And Sony's going to have you pay for online now too, which is fine by me.

I don't know. I never liked having hidden costs on a system when I'm already paying for the console and it's service. When you put it like that then it makes sense.

I looked up the whole deal with why PS4 wants to do the same to but at least they're not trying to be out right dicks about it. Microsoft on the other hand did that day one and then sugar coated it with a bunch of other features I can get on the PC.

Personally, I wish that there was another subscription that was cheaper than buying the whole the PS+ service and just get the online multilayer with out all the other shit. That's just me.

Any excitement I could have possibly had about that game, regardless of console, was destroyed when I heard that it's going to be Free-to-Play but you have to BUY anyone other than friggin' Jago. Also their presentation at the Xbone conference was disgustingly misogynistic. So yeah, I don't give a rip about Killer Instinct now, personally. Just stick to Gold if you don't want a sucky game.

KI is only free 2 play at XBox One launch day. Think of it like a beta or a demo. The developers said there would be a full retail version at some point. But yeah, I can see where your coming from about sticking to KI Gold. I personally like the arcade version better. KI2 I mean. That shit was, I mean STILL IS awesome!!!
