Okay, quick update time! Comments should now be working. You can't edit them yet but you should be able to post them. Happy commenting!
Welcome to the new site!

Just had a look at the new site and it looks wonderful. Not just the theme but also that there are more features and that there are actually more than 3 icons per row not only making it look nicer but also the bottom row is centred.
The only problems so far is that on the Site Stats page and all the links in the Category Stats section point to the DS page and that you have to log in twice (at least for me, one on the forum and one on the actual tSR site) however I'm sure the staff are aware of them and will be fixed as soon as possible.

Looks really good!
For the comments section on individual sheets, is there an option for the uploader(s) to get notified in some way when there is a new comment posted on a sheet of theirs?

Nice catch on the stats page. I've updated the code to fix it and it should, hopefully, take affect as soon as the cached copy updates. As for logging in twice, this is unfortunately how it's going to stay. Since we're using one forum across four sites, there's really no way to do auto-login on the sites themselves, even though it's with the same credentials. One domain simply can't set a cookie for another. There are some workarounds for this but they're not particularly secure so we likely won't be pursuing them but the remember me checkbox should work so at least it's only one login per site. Due to the complexity of notifications in general, this is something we won't actively be looking at for the time being. It has come up in the past and we did discuss it but decided to focus our intention on more important features for now.

btw, why is it that the users viewing a thread (while you're viewing it) doesn't show anything now?

It seems to be working fine for me.

well I'm using the Afresh Plum theme so maybe you guys accidentally took it out of the old themes?

Nice.
Btw, is the text/icon switcher not working? Also, for the autologin across multiple sites, there's multiple ways to get that working; we can discuss that later, after everything else is ironed out, if you want. Thanked by: Ton

All sheets and zips are now downloadable! As soon as the control panel is ready, I'll post a list of non-zips that need to be repackaged and a formal call for volunteers to help do it!
You have, of course, always been able to right click and save as for sheets but now, if you use the "Download this Sheet" link above the info table, you'll get a proper download prompt and the file will be auto-named appropriately so I encourage everyone to use that link if you need to download a copy of anything.

Is it possible to turn off thanking a post taking you to an entirely new page to tell you that you've thanked a post? It feels completely superfluous and kind of jarring.
On top of that, it seems that when an image exceeds the screen width, the forum no no longer has a scroll bar so I can't see the full image without viewing it directly; thanking the post is completely out of the question. |
