-Fallout 1 and 2
-Robo Army (love playing that game when i was younger)
-BUSHI Seiryūden: Futari no Yūsha (be nice to see gamefreak bring back this game)
-Gunstar Heroes(something more than a GBA title)
-Diddy Kong Racing(Wii U)
-Star Fox 2*(Would make a great Wii U release)
-Destiny of an Emperor
-Advance Wars(might be a GBA game but I want it in 3D)
-Kirby Tilt and Tumble
-Pokemon Pinball(also SRW Pinball)
-Judgement Silversword: Rebirth Edition
-Savage Quest(best dinosaur game ever)
I'd say DragonWarrior monsters 1&2 but its actually being made(again)

This, sooooooooo much. I mean I still love Fallout 3 (haven't played New Vegas but I think the engine's really similar), but 1 and 2 were really unique. The turn-based battles weren't just Pokemon or Final Fantasy, I mean you actually had points each turn which you could use to do what you wanted. If you don't have enough points, you gotta use your pistol instead of the rifle. If you have some extra points, you can move your position or attack twice. Even reloading your gun used points. Seriously, in my opinion it's one of the most strategic and interesting battle mechanics I've ever encountered.
That, stacked on top of all the typical Fallout aspects (SPECIAL, perks, radiation, the whole Wasteland setting, the preciousness of random items, and countless other things), made an extremely awesome pair of games. I admit I've only played the first but I'm sure the second is pretty much the same.
I realise that nowadays 1st person games sell better, plus it's Bethesda's speciality, but I would just love to see a new Fallout game in the original style.
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down. -Mary Pickford

Can I say Chrono Trigger?
I know that the original is still very playable, and it's not exactly hard to find a ROM (for uhhh... spriting purposes, despite what my signature says... honest) and zsnes, but I'd love to see this remade for modern consoles so everyone knows of it. I like it because it's an RPG, but isn't like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy where there's so much stuff you basically have to spend the whole summer playing it.
Also the robot factory and lab 32's music is HENCH AS FIRETRUCK.

Didn't Chrono Trigger get a DS port with some little extras? I just wish that after they port a classic and introduce new people to the series they'd then make a sequel or something. Even if it's not too closely connected, the Mother series for example. Mother 1+2 collection on GBA came out, people get to experience a classic game and then, Mother 3 comes along.
Sure it can go bad and sequels which are hated etc. can happen (aka Bionic Commando Re:Armed 2, Bionic Commando) but it's still more interesting than just making a port and then leaving the series for another 10 years before porting it again.

Metroid II: Return of Samus- Seriously why hasn't Nintendo done
this?
Castlevainia II: Simon's Quest- like SNES version and enhanced or on the 3DS.
Pokemon Yellow- This one was fun and would be cool updated, like a Fire Red type version.
Pokemon Snap- on the Wii U or at least a Sequal.
Donky Kong- the expansive GB version updated on GBA or Mario VS DK styled.
Kid Icurus: Of Myths and Monsters- This one is even better than the NES one.
All I can think of for now...
Video Games are bad for you? That's what they said about Rock and Roll!
I would kill for a Pokemon Yellow remake.

Tails' Adventure would be nice to see either a remake or a reboot. It's a pretty solid game as it is, but with a remake on the 3DS it'd be aces.

I find pretty much every GameGear game to be unplayable now. It would need some heavy work doing to it for it to be good.

Isn't that why they'd remake it in the first place?
I mean of course they'd have to refine it a little bit.

And we ended up getting the HD remake. Which has a lot of problems.
- No direct involvement of the original developers
- The HD sprites look downright awful, and don't match the originals
- Crappy midi-esque music. They should've used Tommy Tallarico's awesome redbook audio versions
- Some sound effects were replaced. There was nothing wrong with the Hanna Barbera stock sound effects they originally used
- Redubbed voice that sounds way too annoying. Why didn't they get Dan Castellanetta to reprise the role?
- New levels that don't fit with the rest of the game. Two of the new level bosses are an old lady and a swarm of nanobots
- Third new level has Keyboard Cat as one of the bosses. WHY?!?!
- Stolen fanart used for health icon, and leaderboard. Not sure if they ever apologized
Seriously, they just didn't cared when they made it. Gameloft should be ashamed of themselves.

Seriously, they just didn't cared when they made it. Gameloft should be ashamed of themselves. R-really? Wow. I could forgive absolutely everything else and write off Earthworm Jim HD as simply a bad, fairly lazy remake, but those two bolded issues elevate it to being something ugly and sinful IMO. The very fact that they couldn't arse themselves to MAKE THEIR OWN FUCKING LIFE ICON AND STOLE FANART INSTEAD is disgraceful and especially indicative of the game being a half-ass product. As for my hatred of the Keyboard Cat thing...
My beef comes from the fact that they're simply relying on an already established, fairly old viral sensation to pass as "humor" to pander to memetards instead of making anything new and funny, an opposite of the original Earthworm Jim games' original sense of humor... or maybe it's just my irrational hatred of memes.
And now, my games that deserve remakes:
-Castlevania 3: Preferably in the same vein as Dracula X Chronicles
-Chrono Trigger (FULL remake, pls; the DS version was a great gesture, however)
-Mega Man X2 and X3 in the same style as Maverick Hunter X
-A REAL remake of EWJ and EWJ2 would be the bomb-diggedy, like the canned PSP remake senjen posted above
-Virtual Boy Wario Land, brought to you in full color on the 3DS
Offending people is a necessary and healthy act... Every time you say something that's offensive to another person, you just caused a discussion. You just forced them to have to think. - Louis C.K.
