I believe this is the correct area, but as is pretty obvious, I've only just now arrived here, so if I've done something wrong please correct me.
First and foremost, the sprites:

Now for some context. Rockmen R: Dr. Wily's Counterattack is a doujin game made by Capricorn for the PC. It was originally released commercially and did sell a few copies, but when CapCom caught wind of it, that was the end of it. Capricorn received a C&D, but it was too late—the game had escaped into the Internet, and was henceforth distributed for free.
I can't promise I'll rip the entirety of this game's sprites—I am armed with only ScreenGet and determination—but I'll do what I can.

I'm pretty sure there's an extraction tool for this game's format somewhere...only problem is I saw it on some Chinese forum that I had no clue how to navigate despite the forum's rather typical setup. If I find it again I'll let you know. Otherwise, good job thus far! I look forward to seeing more from this...I wonder what Wily himself looks like in this...
Hey, this is neat. Are they both playable, or just Bass, or neither?

I've never exactly used an extraction tool before, but it goes without saying that should you find such a thing it would be very helpful to me!
To be frank, Wily is kind of ugly-looking in this game, but I would think it wise to wait until I have his whole spritesheet before posting him.

Well I couldn't find the extractor anywhere now...but I ran it through various generic extractors, Jaeder Naub turned up some BMP's that were fairly easy to tell that they were sprites, but due to compression got rather scrambled. I assume if you ask someone who's more...attuned to extraction and decompression methods to look at the EXE of the game, they may be able to find a way to pull them out properly.

As a notice, I inadvertently uploaded Roll's spritesheet whilst forgetting to add her ladder climb sprites and projectile sprites. I apologize for this error and I hope to have it corrected soon.
Nonetheless, I do have a small update—the (Complete, I'm sure of it) Cut-Man spritesheet! He's the boss in the first Wily stage.

Please note that due to circumstances with ScreenGet and my unfortunate placement upon defeating the game's Wily Capsule, this is an incomplete spritesheet. A missile the Wily Machine fires, a laughing animation the Wily Capsule plays upon first appearing, and the entirety of after-the-battle sprites are missing. I am unfamiliar with your policy on unfinished spritesheets. Upload it with a notice, or don't, or let someone else finish it and get the credit, but I didn't want what I had done to just sit around on my computer.
And...that's pretty much all I have! With the screenshots I've taken through normal gameplay, these were all the spritesheets I could produce (And, to be honest, I'm not that interested in ripping the game's tilesets because they are not only somewhat unattractive but are all based upon Mega Man stages from the past). I could (With some difficulty) continue to rip spritesheets in this way, but of course, the best motivation to do anything is a demand for that thing. Who would actually get some use out of this game's sprites, or at least would enjoy seeing them ripped?

To be perfectly honest, I would love to see more ripped from this game. I was wondering if we would be able to use memory dumps to rip more efficiently, but as I'm no expert in the least, I have no idea. I'm terrible at most video games as it is, so I wouldn't be able to progress very well in this one to find the sprites I'm looking for either.
I agree, being an avid Mega Man fan I'd really really love to see whatever else from the game that you can get. It's up to you though, of course.

Hi, guys. I know it's been a while, but I was spontaneously motivated to rip more sprites from this game. So here are the eight Robot Masters from Rockmen R.
WPN-001 - WEASEL MAN
An aerial type defensive robot modeled after a kamaitachi (a japanese whirlwind monster, shaped like a weasel). Its fighting power is immense.

WPN-002 - WALTZ MAN
Formerly a violinist robot, he broke down and was due to be scrapped when Wily picked him up.

WPN-003 - FLARE MAN
An ammunitions factory testing robot. Although he carries a flammable warning label, he is able to control the flares. He can engulf his body in flame and perform a rushing attack that's sure to attract a lot of attention.

WPN-004 - RAPID MAN
An assassination robot that can drop a target from long-distance. He typically prefers to work alone, and why he's cooperating with Wily is a mystery.

WPN-005 - PUPPET MAN
A robot that guards the main system for controlling the automated dolls at an amusement park. Now that main system's dolls have all been transformed into bombs by Dr. Wily.

A robot created to develop new sources of energy, capable of converting various things into energy.

A robot in charge of gun defenses on a space base. His secret technique, the laser wave, is extremely powerful.

A civic laborer robot, recently deployed at a mine to harvest a newly discovered mineral. An acquaintance of Gutsman and Stoneman, he never loses a contest of strength.
