It's about god damn time Samus, Yoshi, and Kirby returned to the fray. And I'm more than happy to see them!
I'm trying to tell myself that December 9th isn't too far away, but it's not working.
Edit: Final Smashes for the Pokes in 3.0 was confirmed in an AMA on Reddit.

This looks great. I never really had any desire to hack my Wii in any form, even as so inconsequential as Project M, before. However, with all this awesomeness, I'll definitely be trying this post-exams.
I hope Nintendo is taking note of this while they develop Smash Bros. 4, they may learn something.

We confirmed Final Smashes for Roy and Mewtwo, not Squirtle, Ivysaur, or Charizard. The 3 were separated to enable us to build new Down B(Down Special) moves that would have never worked. Also to expand their potential by being free of the elemental weaknesses, forced switching, and stamina system, which hindered them to the point of unreliability and unviability in Brawl. However, The Final Smash is in PT's files and not the Pokemon's files, and with the separation, No Final Smashes. Just saw this while passing through and I'm PMBR, so if you have questions on why things the way they are, feel free to ask and I'll reply when I get back home. So this is out and people seem to be loving it. I'm really just blown away by the care and effort that has gone into this game.

I'm kind of disapointted with the lack of young link coustume for toon link, but I can live.
I love just about everything else about this mod. Kind of wish for new events but I can live with it.

We don't officially support using methods other than Gecko OS/Hackless method, but they DO work and we didn't add extra protection to stop said methods from working. Just google them. Also, Riivolution isn't supported in 3.0. BTW, when you said Events do you mean Event Matches? I was looking into them and I learned something rather troubling; the success/failure conditions for a good deal of the event matches are hard coded into the largely undocumented .rel files which makes editing them a pain. A Young Link costume for TL wouldn't be as feasible as it seems, mainly because their proportions are way different. I'm glad you love the mod, though! |
