Fire can be green, but what do I know?
If I'm better off just saying "donkey", why the hell do I even bother participate in this?

They just want more of a background for the mons. I doubt all Pokemon have one or a complicated one, but I can understand where they're coming from. I actually like the idea of green fire, just kind of wonder why the donkey is so angry. They're known for, well, being lazy asses.

That's grounds enough for me, having a literal badass sounds pretty badass.

Honestly, the fact that its part fire doesn't bother me, in fact I like it since if I'm not mistaken, aren't real life donkeys used by guides to guide people? The idea of one being a light in the dark sort of fits well with that imo. The issue I'm having is just parts of the design in general, or to be more specific, the face. It just looks odd, and I don't mean the angry expression.

As for the angry expression, we we keep it, I'd say we make a prevo for him based on the more traditional interpretation of a donkey, but thats just me.

Well Nicktendo this is the idea pitch. Meaning we pitch ideas, not whole Pokemon. It's actually kind of pointless for anyone to design such a complete looking Pokemon with a name and everything. That's what you do in the design thread. Also people are alowed to critisize or change someone's design or idea. It's a collaboration, so don't think one person designs a complete Pokemon on their own.

Look at how are Kiwi is being designed. Multiple people putting forth changes and their own touches. I myself put forth the name "Kweeleaf" and people said it sounded weird. So we came up with something else people seemed to like. I think everyone liked "Keebud" right?

Anyway that's just how the project works.

Speaking of the kiwi, we could use something like the Turaco for basis on his later forms. Its colored via pigment like plants as opposed to how most birds are not.

Just had a little idea. A Flying/Water type pokemon. It's basically a bird that uses water to create a crazy distortion with mist. Obviously, this is a nod to the classic Missingno, just thought it would be kinda neat. On a less referential note, it also works because, if I'm not mistaken, some water birds will splash around to scare off intruders (I may be wrong about this though).

And yes, I know Missingno was "Bird/Water", but I doubt we'd add a new type just for that.

Oh and it looks like we are at a stand still with the legendaries. Perhaps we should move on to other things like "the Rat", "the Bird", and "the Worm"?

Well, I think that we could do for the regional aquatic pokemon to be a Dolphin that evolves into a Orca. Reason why is because Orca's are actually more related to dolphins and porpoises than whales.

And another idea for another water pokemon (but not for a regional) is a Whale Shark. I have the idea where the tail fin is in the shape of a Trident, for being the largest fish in the seas today.

It could evolve to have a atlantis style kind of armor and become water steel.
I like this idea for whale shark.

I propose the obligatory electric mouse to be based off of a computer mouse, seeing as it is connected to a machine and is powered by electricity.

We could have it's design reseble a computer mouse. But I still feel like it should be an electric rodent of flesh and fur.

Also I propose the mosquito larva as one of our three form worms again.

Sounds good to me on both of those.
It should be able to learn fly at its final form. It certainly could if we were in Louisiana.

Yeah it's first stage is Bug/Water, same for the second stage, but it's final stage would be the usual Bug/Flying.
