In case you don't know there's "remake" coming for android and Ios of Final Fantasy VI, the thing is that a couple of days ago Squenix showed some pictures of the remake :
Since is my favorite FF I'll prolly gonna buy it no matter what, but I do feel the "sprites" look kind of bright and blurry, just my personal opinion, I was hoping for kind of FFIV complete collection look, or heck even a nds look, I'm still kind of hype though So what do you think?

Square Enix really doesn't have a good grasp on the mobile market at all. This will probably be priced near their other non-Chrono Trigger remake titles when they launched (around $8 (CT was/is around $15) ).
Also note that "mobile market" isn't synonymous with "people who play Angry Birds", it just happens to be that Rovio can pull off mobile games significantly better than the aging console titans like Square Enix or Capcom.
That said, I do hope Square Enix gets their mobile act together and make some good mobile games. Chaos Rings was sub-par (especially for the price), but I think if they start thinking more progressively and open up to the new world of gaming they'd be a hit-making monster.

I don't know why, but the sprites in this game reminds me of the sprites used in that one mobile port of one of the Megaman X games in terms of how the quality is.
I don't have the image on me right now, but I once saw this one pic on DA that compared the sprites used in the actual Megaman X port with his own rendition of the sprite. I know that fans create really good sprites depending on where you look, but if the official sprite looks like an MS Paint doodle, then Capcom might need to take another look at its sprite department since they are normal such talented artists.

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!

We just talked about this in the Gaming Lounge about a week ago, lol.
In short...most of us feel they didn't even try with the sprites, as they have done better with the higher resolution sprites, as seen on FF1, 2 and 4 PSP.

I love this game. It's my favorite of all time. But I probably won't buy this unless I'm drunk and it's on sale.

As I've said before, I would buy it and FFV if they were for an actual gaming system and not a throwaway mobile OS.
