For some reason the animation looks a bit weird to me - the cape just suddenly appears straight out on the side, and then just totally disappears...
I love how you've put a lot of frames in for smooth motion, but really, there's actually too many frames. He moves so fast that he seems really rushed in doing the movement... When he looks pretty "calm and cool" to me...

Dazz, the cape actually turns into the gun. It becomes completely white after he swings it and before it transforms. The color of these forums makes it hard to notice the white, so that's why it just looks like the cape disappears.
