Uh... Not sure I know what you're talking about - the title bar on Firefox still exists on the tab - and it is the only wording in there, so it's not like it's cut off because of a prefix.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you
I'm not in front of a computer with Firefox at the moment so I can't say this with certainty but I think the problem he is describing is that the tabs aren't big enough to show much of the title and it isn't shown anywhere else on the browser.
That being said, the thread's title is shown at the top of the page itself, both in the "breadcrumbs" and above the first post so at worst, you'll just need to scroll up to see it.
You can restore Firefox's title bar by going to View -> Toolbars -> Customize... and clicking on the Title Bar button in the bottom-left corner.
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down. -Mary Pickford

Yeah, at the cost of vertical resolution, not to mention that it's ugly and looks awkward. Merging the tab bar and title bar was a genius idea because it put the tabs in a place that's otherwise completely empty. Turning it off doesn't make much sense, particularly on smaller screens.
for many people, change is difficult to adjust to--especially when it seems arbitrary.
personally, on my large screen, it felt really weird not to have a title bar. almost like there was... too much space.
