This might be bias talking here because the chat I'm watching E3 in unanimously agreed both of those games look like complete shite, but I think Miyamoto was embarrassing himself which is really heart breaking. What happened to the creative, charming, inventive, and imaginative new IPs that we're used to seeing from him? These are none of the above (IMO). It was just sad to see.

Splatoon looks amazing, and Palutena is a great choice if for no other reason than more female characters. But she's also badass.

I honestly think it could go either way with both of these games (but my gut is filled with skepticism).

Splatoon doesn't look like a full price game atm, but it's alright

Well, I tihnk a big part of it has to do with how much character development she went through in Kid Icaras: Uprising. She changed from this one character you have to save to this mischievous goddess who likes saving the world at the expense of teasing her trusted friend.

Plus, after the whole leak thing that caused a lot of controversy, everyone saw this coming.

I really wish that the tournament was 1 on 1. Not because of some elitist "1 v 1 is the only way to play, 4 person sucks" but because it would've allowed the characters to be shown off more
