Hello all.

Been busy with work, college, etc; but I actually managed to do some sprite work. (after doing all the good ole Father's day stuff) E3 was pretty good, and saw a few movies.

I'll do a new thread simply because...


This is pretty much it. Ones with stars are finished works.
Not sure why but the macross zentransuit sprite looks like its from a nes final fantasy game. Maybe it's the strong green or black outline, I'll change it eventually.
(I'm still stuck on whether i should stick to smaller works or bigger ones. I get too busy and lose interest on bigger ones)

I'm so glad to see you posting again!

I like these, but I'll focus on the DQ sprites for now. The crack on the skull's head doesn't look quite like one, and I'm missing the slightly goofy poses of the skeleton and of the knight (impression given by the legs, mostly). I tried to recreate that in my edit, to the right:

Oh, and is TSRPG going to carry on now that you're back?

Thanks, I tried not to make the poses spot on with the DQ sprites, which is why the legs looked that way, also the fact I need them to fit in a frame of pixels.

As for TSRPG I really want to work on it in some way, so perhaps I'll just work on the sprites and such. I'll redo (some) enemy sprites and work on attacks animations, mugshots, and overworld sprites. Also I'll update the TSRPG thread with new info on whats the plan.

I just don't have time to get extremely committed to it alone, (like scripting using either RPGmaker or from scratch), not saying I won't try doing it on my own just that it will take much much longer. I'm really sorry . Making it a group project would be a better alternative, though many people have already pitched ideas (thanks). Again for now I'll keep making sprites for it along with story planing, heck maybe even a sprite comic if the game is a bust.

I tried adding more color to the large sprite and removed the bright green
As I'm typing it I can see some other things that need to be changed, but criticism is good anyways.

Bump of some unfinished stuff. I'll work on it more maybe tonight and tomorrow.
Criticism wanted. I'm not sure why but the Zentran suit still looks flat, maybe it the light sources.
I'm also pretty lazy with pallets and color picking so many times I reuse colors :I .

Man, everything here looks great! I was especially impressed with the Bobobo style Gors/Chris2Balls/Yourself, their faces are just perfect! ;D

A remake of Wario Land 3 with those graphics would be AMAZING. I had a lot of fun in that game, and doing it again with more detail would be all the rage. Get Nintendo to hire you so you can make it happen and get paid~
