If I remember right, both Melee and Brawl were both meant to be his last. I have a feeling he just does that to push himself to the limit and try to do what he thinks is best.
I don't blame him for wanting to take it easy, though. It became more common knowledge over a year ago that the guy has problems with his arm, and as much as ten months ago you could see him in visible pain. The guy's probably tortured himself with this game.
Yeah, I don't believe that SSB4 is going to be the last Smash game. After all, they did say that Brawl was going to be the last, but come E3 2013...

At least this time he's saying hypothetically that there could be future smash games, and that he probably wouldn't be involved or at least directing it. He's never seemed to even give that idea a thought before.

Just thought I'd share.

An interview with him from back when Brawl was in development. I seriously doubt I could find it again. It might have been an Iwata Asks...

Sooooo ... apparently I just hit a limit of how many Stage Builder stages we're allowed to make. Which is 70. Kind of a weird number to stop on ... why not 100?
Or more importantly, why is there a limit at all? Brawl didn't have a limit; I literally made several hundred stages in that one with no repercussions ...
Plus, Wii U has an actual hard drive, and allows external devices (like hard drives or flash drives) to be used on it too. What's the point in a limit?

Guys I've been a huge downer in these past weeks with my posts because of irl stress, but after finding out that this song returned in the game after 13 years, I temporary can literally not do anything but be happy right now; my face is grin-frozen.
Apparently doing a lot of Master and Crazy Orders unlocks it on Final Destination, or so I gathered.
This game now has the best Final Destination soundtrack ever:
-Credits (Super Smash Bros)
-Final Destination Ver. 2 (Melee) | Multi-Man Melee 2
-Metal Battle (Melee)
-Final Destination (Brawl)
-Final Destination Ver. 2
It is every theme I ever wanted aside from Metal Battle (N64) not returning in any way, shape, or form. I am satisfied.

That was one of the first songs I unlocked, so I don't think that's true. I think it's just a random CD drop. Can't remember exactly how I obtained it though.

Finally got to play this on my friends console yesterday. Was really fun, 8 man brawl is so chaotic & I like Megaman. However, I'm disappointed about the lack of Tournament mode! We made do with an app that one of my friends had to set up the brackets but it wasn't as convenient as the Tourney mode in Brawl

I think that in the 50-fact extravaganza they mentioned that tournament mode would be a thing eventually.
So it turns out that the Japanese version has a unique song in it.

That happened in Brawl too. It was from a Japanese only game. A cooking game, I think.
