One thing I'm thinking
if Cloud could be in, why not Ridley too? I know Sakurai stated why he wasn't added, but now is a good time to finally make him playable in my honest opinion. ( the two in my signature would be my dream come true )

Because Ridley is still too big in his mind.

Funnily enough, I put a word filter over " too big " so it says " A good contender for Smash 4 instead and I'm laughing so hard right now
also I think it's more of his own personal opinion about being more fitting as a boss more than his size, but I don't want to talk about Ridley anymore, I got in enough trouble doing so.

Cloud has opened only three doors:
Super Mario RPG content
Square-Enix content
Characters who have weak modern day connections to Nintendo (so RareWare's group, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro)

These guys should be added! Not only are they already in fighting games, but the entire Super Chinese series has been on Nintendo consoles only, and Culture Brain was pretty close to Nintendo!

I'm down for Super Ninja Boy. The Hit RPG 90's adventure. Yo. Real talk Goemon might be a better choice but then again.... #FuckKonami.
You may also know me as Giraffe
What Rips am i doing next not sure?

I don't think I've seen these guys in my life, like
ever. and here you are saying "These guys are good pick. They're freakin' perfect!!"
and who's Culture Brain
I'm starting to think that, oh I dunno Cloud might have had a huge lasting impact on gaming in general, and with Mario, Sonic, Megaman, and Pac-Man in a big battle, it'd make a LITTLE bit of sense. But if Ryu and Jack touched down in the arena, everyone would be like "hey who's these guys. are the ice climbers ninjas now LOL"

I plowed through all the RPGs in the series on my YT channel recently; the RPGs don't take themselves too seriously and are very lighthearted. They're also over the top in how they handle the typical RPG vehicles. Rather than simply getting a boat or a hot-air balloon or something, they give you something different each time, and it's great!
With a series with this many entries and Nintendo only, I'm surprised it didn't even at least get trophies in Smash yet.
Culture Brain also made other classics such as The Magic of Scheherazade NES (to which Super Ninja Boy dedicates an entire town in reference), Flying Warriors NES (in which two characters, Rick and Gengai, play a small role in Little Ninja Brothers and Super Ninja Boy) and others.

Again, the whole "I've never heard of it, so therefore no one's heard of it" thing doesn't work, lol. You cannot go from a true particular case to a true universal case, from neither the Boolean nor Aristotelian standpoint in Logic.
If Jack and Ryu didn't at least have a good amount of attention, they wouldn't have spawned so many games XP.

There are literally no, I repeat NO people who were born after 1990 who have any knowledge or any interest in any of Culture Brain's properties beyond those who have such an incredible curiosity that they search through literally every game that ever existed.
This is coming from a big, big, biiig fan of the Ninja Brothers series and who has been contemplating getting the Super Famicom fighting game off Amazon because it looks so good. I really, really, really love lots of the games, ever since I was a little kid, but Culture Brain is soooooooo far removed from anything that's ever been in Smash that it's not even funny.
Not to mention that Culture Brain hasn't released any game at all since the Gameboy Advance era. I doubt they even make games anymore, if they even exist at all.
At this point I'm convinced you are trolling, because if you actually believe that Jack and Ryu are anything other than number Ten Thousand on the list of the next most eligible characters in Smash, you are literally insane.
it's not "NO ONE has heard of it, ever". it's more like "almost everyone has never heard of it".
Of course a game has its share of popularity but it doesn't take much to know that these games you listed are literally nothing compared to the franchises that got into SSB4's roster in terms of popularity.
SSB4 picks relatively famous characters from Nintendo 1st and 2nd parties, so I don't know why you think they shouldn't follow the suit for 3rd party companies.
You literally have no idea what you're talking about.

Wrong guys! And here's one of many counter examples.
This guy got into Smash as a trophy, was only in one game, AND it was Japan only. And there are many other characters in Smash who fall into this category, who've either been trophied or made into a playable character, like the Ice Climbers who were only relevant once in history.
If 1st, 2nd and other 3rd party characters that do that can get in as trophies or playable characters, it's not insane at all to think more popular 3rd party characters, who have starred in multiple titles AND are close to Nintendo, can get in as trophies, or have a shot at being a playable character.

Yeah, it's pretty insane. Obscure Nintendo Characters in a Nintendo Game isn't even a comparable situation...
