I assume these are all the games we'll get, but I would advise waiting until late June, just to see if the coin values drop.

Haven't been playing a whole lot of vidya lately but I have been playing a good amount of Dying Light. Pretty fun game. It's starting to get a little predictable after 11 hours though. Not even a large portion of the way through the story. I've been screwing around in the sandbox doing sidequests.

Lately, I've been worrying because, I think, my capacity to enjoy vidya gaems is slowly decreasing. I find it difficult to play anything new for a real length of time (I'll usually lose interest after fifteen minutes) although I rarely try new games anyway- I really only play Dark Souls sometimes and nothing else.
Even games like Super Metroid, Wind Waker and Morrowind haven't been able to keep a hold on me. Oh dear.

I get what you mean. As much as I like to play more console games, my time is eaten up by Full Sail and my other projects.

As the forum's resident Old Man, allow me to say: Don't worry about it.
These phases come and go in your lifetime, it's just part of how the human mind operates. Basically it's your brain saying "you know what, we've been doing the same stuff for years and I'm just not getting the same high off of it any more". In most cases you'll get over it in time and be back on the wagon eventually. Your brain just needs a form of a break so it can refresh how it experiences these things again. What you DON'T want to do is force yourself to continue playing games you're not feeling yourself interested in at the moment out of fear you're going to lose the ability to do so. Doing that will just make your mind resent it more and you'll have a harder time recouping from it. What you need to do is go with the flow, with what your brain is telling you, whether it be changing up the kind of games you're playing or cutting yourself off from games for a while altogether. Just do what feels good, and don't force yourself to do things you're not really feeling into at the moment. That road leads to ennui. Thanked by: recme

Besides Shantae, has anyone ever played the other Wayforward games?
I kind of liked Mighty Milkyway. http://youtu.be/gc3RgvEaMyw It was a DSiWare game where you try to get to the goal by creating planets and using their gravity to move around the course.

Yeah I'm pretty fond of Wayforward. They mostly do licensed games but they usually do a pretty good job with them, and their original stuff is pretty cool. Some of my favorites are Mighty Switch Force, Double Dragon Neon, and A Boy and His Blob for the Wii. I've heard some amazing things about Contra 4, but I was never good enough at the original Contra games to really give it a try.

Yeah I can't get very far in most Contra games. They are still pretty amazing even if I stink at them.

Someone mentioned to me that this puzzle was being put on Club Nintendo for 800 coins, so I jumped on it.
I've still got to register a couple of my games before the end of march. I just find the process too tedious to do it all in one go.

Contra 4 was utterly brilliant (and strangely absent from the UK). The game was great, the challenge mode was great and it included the NES games. Utterly flawless.

Considering Wayfoward's reputation, I want to see them create at least one official Nintendo game. They'll be perfect for creating another entry in the Wario Land series.

So far they're too busy making bad Adventure Time games...
02-06-2015, 02:39 AM
Well it depends on who's making the games within that company.
I've been playing Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and it's a quality title (true it's more linear than the previous two but it's still fun).

I'm liking Citizens of Earth.
