Editing own model details
#1
Question
I actually need to be able to edit my model or other submission details that I feel do not have correct names like this submission that I named it puftup for Sonic all stars racing transformed game that was submitted to the textures resource:

http://www.textures-resource.com/pc_comp...ture/4830/

That above is the example that I need to be able to change the preview icon and the details I want to edit like changing the name back to Puftup where I named it as that pufferfish weapon used in that game is no longer a Donkey Kong enemy after they made it's final appearance in the Donkey Kong ds game "DK: Jungle Climber". We do need the button in-order to edit the details and the icons so that I can rename that back to where I initially named it "Puftup", which is somewhat a known pufferfish enemy that was in Donkey Kong for years before 2010, one for Banjo-Tooie and Sonic racing series is the only 2010s game that Puftup actually appeared in that was back in 2012.

This has already been discussed (in the suggestions thread, which is a better place for this kind of post). The ability to edit accepted items is already something staff can do and not something that will be opened up to everyone as it would defeat the purpose of the submission queue.

What you will be able to do in the near future though is submit revisions to any existing item on the site. This is effectively an edit except that the changes get queued for approval, just like normal submissions. We should have this feature completed relatively soon but in the mean time, just use the errors thread to report any mistakes.

Um...the blowfish weapon in S&ASRT has no relation to the Puftup.

The blowfish weapon was actually recycled from the Donkey Kong enemy "Puftup", but the model is in high poly unlike the previous appearances the pufferfish character made.

Which page number of the thread would that be in "suggestions"?

But it's not Puftup? Keep in mind this is a Sega game, not Nintendo, so it couldn't have been recycled.

That, and the game specifically says "Blowfish!" when you pick it up, so the name stays.

True, but if you still recognize the character's name given by other companies even though you picked up a generic character and it's name that was previously named by Nintendo before SEGA also has this character in that role, it could be a remake of their puftup character. He's not the only character who moved on from Nintendo or another franchise or company, there's lots of others who've been re-used or re-created. 2 examples could be possibly be that The Doozers from Fraggle Rock are used as the E.C.A Agents for the Chowder cartoon and the original Blustering Bellowpane Monster character was used as the Giant Bees for Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. It's probably because the game does name them that way and to some people who know that's from another series which is a newer rendition of that character originally used for the previous games or other stuff.
