Devil May Cry 3 Models
#1
Am looking to rip Devil May Cry 3 models from either PC Special Edition or either PS2 game through PCSX 2. I have no idea how to do this and can't find ripped models anywhere so would appreciate any and all help in doing so. It's for a project I'm planning to work on in UDK. Thanks in advance.

Just a quick thought. If you "obtain" D.M.C - Devil May Cry, you could just extract the files using umodel. The models would come out already weight painted, so you wouldn't have to weight paint them from scratch.

He isn't talking about that game, he is referring to the last one that was released on the PS2 and later on PC. Its model format is weird so it was hard to rip, but it is possible... you just won't get any usable bones or painted weights.

I understand that mate, just thought I'd make it easier for him LOL. By the way, you should check out umodel. I saw the Karai model you ripped, which I'm assuming you used the same method to rip it as you did with Spidey. Umodel is compatible with T.M.N.T, so you'd get all the other models quicker!

Im a longtime user of umodel, you don't need to inform me of tools to use, I'm old user of ripping models, been doing it for years.

And fyi... that Karai was ripped using umodel.

Also, how would it be easier for him, when he specifically stated he wants DMC3 models? I know DmC has the DMC3 costume yes, but it sucks.

I've already seen that thread, but I don't see a Vergil or Dante model in there. And I'm asking how to rip them myself. I'm not very familiar with ripping and curious as to why such a popular game has no model uploads anywhere -.-

Edit 1: Whoa nvm that thread has been updated I think since I last saw it. Rechecking now! ty for linking it.
Edit 2: You don't provide download links. You updated that post this month. Good to know someone is working on it!
