I didn't mean to infer that I disliked Smash Run. It just feels like it's void of any sort of actual strategy in regards to attempting to power up specific stats. In the end the levels of your stats seem to be completely dependent on luck rather than skill. More detail in this post: http://www.vg-resource.com/thread-23265-...#pid550699
As for what I think of the mode ... well I haven't played it enough to really get a good opinion of it yet. I will say that Smash Run is the main reason why I even bought the 3DS version of the game and didn't just wait for the Wii U version, so I hope it hits my expectations. So far all I can really say is that this mode could REALLY use a map function.

that QR Code will add Nikki, the mascot for Swapnote, to your Mii Maker, making her usable in games. Of course, she can also be used in Smash. For whatever reason, I prefer using her to other Mii characters because she's... actually a Nintendo character. I made her a swordsman, as a little joke going off of "The Pen is Mightier than the Sword" since her app is all about using the stylus. Intentionally lowered her defense but gave her high power and speed.
Is anybody else enjoying Mii characters? Yeah, I make mii characters from time to time on smash.
For once I actually found a decent purpose for them and as a bonus making animu characters for shits and giggles.
I MEAN AFTER ALL THERES NO OTHER WAY TO GET NARUTO OR GOKU IN SMASH SO I MIGHT AS WELL BE THAT GUY.

Played this game a ton today. Mostly in standard Smash and training mode, just so I could get a feel for the controls (being a semi-newcomer to the series).
What the hell have I been missing all this time

It HAS a map function. Just tap your character on the screen, or I assume anywhere on the screen aside from the abilities panel.

Yeah, I was just about to say, "Did you NOT read the tutorial?!?"
Anyway, am I the only one who notices that you cannot open Miiverse when you play this? Every other 3DS game I've opened Miiverse in while playing opens it, but with this one, it always gives me the "You cannot open Miiverse while this game is in use". I really wanted to post some screenshots...
smash 3ds is actually so system-intensive that the 3ds can't handle suspending the game and opening miiverse, or any of the other system functions for that matter. the only thing i know you can do with smash bros. paused is open up your friends list.
from what i've heard, this won't be an issue with the new 3ds.
also, i forgot to mention that if anyone wants to 1v1 me, then hit me up on skype. id:recolorme

multiple times. i've only beaten it on 6.0-6.9 intensity once, but it didn't count--i died afterward because i was dicking around with the core long enough that it rose up and created a power wave around itself that instantly k.o.'d me.
probably my favorite boss in the series.

So far I'm loving for glory mode. For 1 on 1, I fought 47 matches. I won 32 times and lost 15, resulting in a win rate of 68.08%. Most of the matches I played were really close, so I find the mode to be incredibly fun!
Also, I think I should probably start using more characters. I've been using Wario most of the time and I still haven't even tried all of the characters.
Duck Hunt Dog is amazing one of my favorite characters in smash bros as well i have over 300 trophies as well. and more the half the achievements completed.
What Rips am i doing next not sure?

It's ironic that nobody thought Duck Hunt Dog would be a good character, yet he manages to be a main for a handful of players.

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!
Man, I still haven't unlocked Duck Hunt Dog yet, let alone encountered him.
