Shovel Knight

This game's files are all in .pak format. I've tried some Quake/Half-life tools to unpack them but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

.PAK is such a common file name extension that it's unlikely that they'd be the same as other .PAKs from other games. :V

Regardless, I saw a .PAK extractor on XeNTaX in makcar's post, and it worked with the files I've tried. But Yacht Club plans on packing up their sprite files later, so it may be best to wait for those?

Uh, not sure if it's the same 'release' so to speak, but there's already a sprite 'archive' on their site now. Needless to say it's not all the raw sprites as we had hoped and contains very little actually. So it might as well be up to us to figure it out ASAP if we want them at all...

Speaking of which, unpacking the files returns files in the .anb format.
