Pokémon Model Ripping Project
Hi all Big Grin
I was trying to adjust / fix some rigs. For example, Machamp armature has all bones disconnected, and I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to set some IKs. I watched a video on youtube about this, but it seems "endsomethingbones" can be found almost only on quadrupeds. Machamp and other humanoid pokemons don't have them. And honestly, that technique did not sound solid. Is there someone who has already tried to make some IKs for pokemon models in Blender? If so, could I have some advice, or some links to other videos? It would be much appreciated, Thanks!!! Big Grin

Which by the way, I have been creating my own Pokemon game for 2 and 1/2 years now and I was wondering if anybody would care to join, I would especially need a programmer under unreal engine but any talent is welcome.

The floor uses a shader which function is some pages above:

Just make it and it will look as desired. I did it in shader amplify, but Demothene had a lot better results.

Btw, have anyone ripped Pokémon Masters animations and make them to work properly? The rigging seems broken

You can't for now. You can extract the gfbanm files, but you can't do anything with them

I managed to extract a sample of models from Pokémon Sword: a random creature and the Rival model. It seems that this game follows the same file types as in Let's Go.

The files inside the .GFPAK can be extracted with the BMS script, and the subsequent .BNT texture files can be converted to DDS. However, when it comes to .GFBMDL model files, the Let's Go MAXScript in this forum doesn't output anything.

Maybe someone else has better luck.

So? Doesn't change the fact that I don't release scripts for leaked games until they're officially released. Besides, one more day of waiting won't kill you.

Relax mate, I literally say in the second line there's no hurry. I'm just being jokingly petty

EDIT: Is it ok to point this or too soon? Need more testing but seems the format is exactly the same as LGPE, except by one value (in RTB's script, search the line that says "fseek f 0x28" and change the 0x28 for 0x2C). Cheers!
